Had a 90 saleen copy cat vortec 347 . I practically slept in it . Was so sade end of October when I stored it for the winter and child like happy in May when I took her out of winter storage. My mustang saved my life . I was going threw some crazy shit . I just focused on the car . Drag racing and street racing . Not sure if I didn't have that car . I'd be alive today . Suck I got rid of it . One of my biggest regrets

Wanted that color but with a gray interior when I bought my 88'.Wound up settling for Gray with Titanium bottom and the blue stripe in the moulding.Sticker was $15074 and wound up getting it for $13750 with a rebate.Great car.Great times at 22 y/o.Miss those days.Great to see this one saved and amazed how strong that engine sounded for sitting so long.

LOL. I love the quote from Cobras,LXs, and GTs. The 'ol gurl fired up alright. It was cool to see FMR Matt use the ol starter trick. My dad taught me that one several years ago. We had a '78 Toyota Celica GT 5-speed, and he demonstrated or told me about having to do that one time to get home. You may also know Matt that you can roll start and pop the clutch in 2nd gear if you ever have a dead battery in a manual.

I have a 90LX that's been sitting since 2008 or 09. I really can't remember bcoz I've been overseas since 08. It won't even turn over. Turn the key and nothing happens. But, it does have power to the lights when a battery is connected. Safe to say she needs work.

I could be wrong but I'd check the body alignment or K member, it looks like the drivers side wheel sticks out farther than PS. I have those same rims and they do stick out in the front which is why I've never run them. Fox's unibody are notorious for being cranked outta whack.

If its been settkng that long its going to need a bunch of new stuff ,i bought a 92 with 48000 miles on it had to replace the water pump,radiator all new exhaust system.,it had beensettingfor 12 years. And a buchof other stuff.

Nice looking car for how long it's been sitting my dad used to do that with his 67 GMC pickup move it with starter !! A lot of people had those wheels on the Foxbodys in the early 90' that in BBS wheels!! Just hope the cylinder walls wasn't rusted to bad wipe the rings out!! Hope it runs good once Matt gets the fuel pump on it get the oil flowing through the motor can wait for the next video Jen did a pretty good job with no power steering!! Had to do this before. Friends Toyota engine was dead. 4x4 have a clutch Bypass button. He engaged the button put it in gear and drove it up his drive way

My 1987 mustang convertible 5.0 five speed has been sitting for about six years I recently just bought it I knew that it needed a little TLC so I did a major tuneup Also changed the fuel pump and now it starts up on a dime but it shakes a little bit at the beginning and then it goes away how do I eliminate the shake completely can anybody help? thank you .

dannie curlett I know I had my current foxbody sold and could’ve had it but the guy backed out and I would’ve regretted it because it’s my first car. I’ve put a lot of work in it.

Sat in a Barn for 18 years before they picked it up. Check the later videos though (especially the one posting today at 5pm eastern) and you'll see that it has been cleaned up.
