that's what's so great about the Fox chassis, there's so many OEM parts that can get you into the 12's. Of course there are other platform choices that do the same, but...so easy to save a Mustang.

Beautiful car!! I wish i could afford one myself. I have an SN95 with good bones and a coworker with a 4cyl fox ready to sell. If my wife hadn't passed away last August I would be ready to pounce!! Love your content! Project Menace has been my favorite so far!!👍👍😃😃

That's a beauty of a hatch! Looks like it was well taken care of... and will be even better once your done with the tasteful mods and adjustments! Perhaps project "AutoFox" ...

We drove the family down for holidays from 1988-91 from Ottawa to Florida in my dad's 87' hatchback. It was great. The hatchback really helped.

That's a great starting point for pretty much anything someone might want to do to it. We've been modifying these cars for so long that I truly appreciate nice original cars now.

I'm with you on automatics, I'd love to have a clean AOD cruiser.

Dang that’s a nice hatch🐣 I love these titanium cars! They always look clean even when dirty. I love having automatics especially when cruisers. Especially cruising Woodward avenue, totally sucks having a stick in heavy cruise traffic. Project Grocery Getter !!! Or Boom’n Granny !! 😂 Survivor for sure.

That's a survivor for sure - I would call it the "gray granny" - she's surviving well and keeps on ticking! 😂

Looks like my 90 LX I had, except it was a 5 speed and the 25th "anniversary" edition. Sure I don't have to tell you, make sure nothing happens to those vin tags on the body panels when you repaint. Some of us out there look for those when we buy Foxbodies and SN95s. Decent survivor, just needs a lot of little things to bring it back to where it should be. Would love to find another 90 LX 5 speed, I miss that car. I prefer the LX look over the GT any day

AODulation, nice color combo. Like you said Chris, the car hasn’t been beat. Simple tasteful mods sounds like an excellent plan.

She's beautiful. My '90 is exactly the same color combination. According to my Marti report, only 33 were built like this.

Looks fairly clean, the history is pretty important obviously so i would defiantly put the money into it. Absolutely love with the hatch.

I would call it a survivor. Still a clean car just needs a refresh. You have some great content coming. Can’t wait.

Light Titanium on an aero Fox is my personal favorite hue for it. More so on the GT hatch with the dark Titanium lower half(like the project GT). With some 17" chrome pony wheels, they look perfect! IMO

As I've gotten older im not so crazy about notchbacks anymore, I'd gladly have a hatch or GT over a notch. Either way its gotta be a stick car, automatic fox bodies make me feel dirty, lol.

I loved my 1986 GT hatch enough to hold onto its rusty carcass. I drove it in winter, used its hatchback as a pickup truck to carry home parts too cheap to pass up, and curtain'd in the hatch to camp out in the trunk for swap meets, partying with the old timers and getting deals in before the gates opened at 6am.
@bobfalfa768 ай бұрын
@@alertgasper Imo, 85/86 GT aesthetically is the pinnacle of fox bodies. The only thing I'd change is the quarter windows over to 90's style, just that small change really does a lot for them.
@alertgasper8 ай бұрын
@@bobfalfa76 i agree, but of course i'm biased. last guy who owned it gave it the later GT cheese grater rear tailights, however...those won't be making the cut i don't think :) But i like the dashboard better than what the aero cars recieved.

There is something to be said for just putting it in drive and pulling off. We have 1 auto out of 9 mustangs and it's a stock all original 93 GT. Honesty I love it.
@alertgasper8 ай бұрын
dash rattle? good excuse to get the dash out, put in a new heater core, and get in a custom sound system. Even if you keep the stock head, just modern speakers and maybe a subwoofer or bass would bring it out. or hide a bluetooth socket or whatever the kids use now, maybe in the lighter recepticle.
@dennish95198 ай бұрын
I would call that a survivor. What is not original is not some "high performance" item that may to have some mod's done to fit it and from I see normal wear and tear from usage. Sweet little hatch, great blank slate. My take on this would be that since it has been mostly factory like condition I would do bolt on's and other than lowering a little keep the outside looking the way it came from factory, so yest those black pipes have to go! Brushed stainless all the way!

Chrome exhaust tips/ pipes? No, no, no …stainless. 1990 16 inch pony rims weren’t available. 15 inch 10 hole rims were the top option on an 5.0 LX hatch.
