We have always been the greatest of teammates no matter of the price when it comes to futile warfare and most importantly we share a common passion of protecting the people and environment of the lands we occupy which in my opinion means that we have a strong commitment to each other as well as an obligation to be strong and visionary with respect to our current environment. Usually, when we import product of other country, it's because they are cheaper then those made in USA. If you stop buying imported products and, instead, buy American, you will still pay more than imported products before the tariffs....YOU LOSE ALL THE WAY

When China was hit with a 25% tariff, they lowered their pricing and absorbed the differential costs. In addition, other countries supplied products China was providing. It reduced Chinese output by 7 percent overnight. It increased the value of the dollar, lowered unemployment in America, and encouraged less business in China and more business in America. Those tariffs still exist today, and the exact same arguments of how the US economy would fail were made then. The US economy is the most powerful in world history and is not something that other countries can simply ignore. They either have to adjust economically or conform to the requirements set by the United States to continue trading with what is often their largest trading partner. In the meantime, Inflation reduces, the American dollar increases in value, American companies prosper domestically, and American buying power increases as a direct result. The cost of Tariffs in the short term is minimal, if any, while in the long term, becomes a phenomenal investment for Americans.

This will force American businesses to produce in the US because the profit they make from cheap labour overseas will be taken by the tariffs, the problem is can they find Americans to do the jobs? they can stop importing to the US altogether and export to other countries. Trump is shooting himself in the foot ignoring the fact right now trade is global.

40 kg of fentanly from Canada, that is definitely worth 25% tarrifs. More than fair.

18kg of Fentanyl was seized coming into Canada from the US... meanwhile the US law enforcement agencies state that 80% of Fentanyl is smuggled into the US through legal ports of entry by US citizens,

You do not understand what has been going on for a long, long time. Our own corporations bailed on America and used cheap slave labor from a Communist country to make big profit making goods (that we once made) that they sell back to Americans. The CCP treats its own people like slaves and Nike and the CCP made billions using those slaves and selling their goods to Americans. We lost manufacturing jobs. Instead of producing things, our role became consumer. Consumer. And we take drugs. Feel lost, etc. This has caught up with us. Both parties--Dems. and Repubs. are responsible for this because I'm guessing that our corporations had a lot of influence over Congress. I feel impatience with you for acting so childish.
