That's what bugs me. I personally don't care if one works from home as long as the job gets done. Too many of these arguments and complaints tend to be more about enriching landlords and real estate agents, not regarding anything about the true logistics of the job. Often the same crowd that push carpooling, even when impractical, public transportation, and complaining when an employee is late due to unexpected traffic snarls.

But you are correct, the government is raising property values 16-20% for tax assessments when they should be lowering them since the entire sector is tanking.
