The only healthy, friendly, "Conflicts" we may have are in sports it seems? Conflict throughout history has kept people opposing and against each other and has only created division. Example. An Astro fan, here in Texas, offered all his earthly possessions for a World Series ticket. Probably didn't have a lot of possessions, and no responses from anyone. Then an Atlanta Braves fan ended up giving The Astro fan a ticket. Nothing in return. Just out of love of the game and a great passion. Sports seem to be the only conflicts that are positive, really. I do get his point about pulling for everyone which is why I think Patrick Reid found himself on the wrong side of the crowd for a time. People do like to have someone to hate and he was or is that guy in golf. The difference is if you have one or two guys you pull for you will see them win maybe once or twice a season or maybe even never. Golf is hard and who will get hot is almost impossible to pick.

Rita Popovics, only honest about his opinion. Quite frankly who is this Portnoy person, never heard of him. Have you ever seen or heard Tiger say he was a perfect person or the poster person for right vs wrong? I have followed golf and Tiger since his amateur days and never seen or heard anything like that. He cusses on course all the time, has broken clubs, spits while on camera and has never apologized for his actions. He tried to keep his personal life personal as does any top athlete or personality that is constantly in the spotlight. So where is the fraudulent part this guy is talking about? I'm not saying that Woods wasn't a good golfer as I never saw him play but when he first came onto the scene the media looked at him as a god and it's as if real past legends such as Sam Snead, Arnold Palmer and Jack Nicklaus never existed. The media can create anything even if it doesn't really exist or draw interest in something that normally wouldn't make the second section of the paper (example: the Gabby Petito case)
