My husband and I are nearing retirement, have 2 daughters, 1 is a divorced mother the other is married with no children and both in their own homes they bought before prices went crazy and got low interest rates. My take away from this is that the only reason we are not in a recession is the government spending. Isn't it the government spending that is making prices so high in the first place? For example when the government prints money and spends it on a good or service they aren't increasing the supply but instead increasing demand and lowering the supply.
