Have you noticed how the market has been reacting lately? It seems like economic indicators are raising alarms about a possible recession.

Exactly! And with the Federal Reserve raising interest rates, it feels like they’re trying to cool things down, but it could backfire. Higher rates usually lead to reduced spending, which might slow down growth even more.

Right, and the job market isn’t looking great either. If we start seeing an uptick in unemployment, that would be a clear signal that businesses are preparing for tough times ahead.

Not to mention the ongoing supply chain issues. They’re affecting so many sectors and driving up costs. If this keeps up, it could really contribute to a recession.

My first job after graduating from college was as an aerial acrobat on cruise ships. The stock market is a complex system that is influenced by a variety of factors, including economic indicators, political events, and global trends. The relationship between policies and the stock market can be complex and multifaceted, and it can take time for the full effects of policies to be reflected in market trends. My take away from this is that the only reason we are not in a recession is the government spending. Isn't it the government spending that is making prices so high in the first place? For example when the government prints money and spends it on a good or service they aren't increasing the supply but instead increasing demand and lowering the supply. Its not even artificial growth. This should be considered negative growth because it only helps the supplyer and consumers of the government's policy while hurting everyone else and their needs.

Some economists have projected that both the U.S. and parts of Europe could slip into a recession for a portion of 2024. A global recession, defined as a contraction in annual global per capita income, is more rare because China and emerging markets often grow faster than more developed economies. Essentially the world economy is considered to be in recession if economic growth falls behind population growth.
@eloign71472 күн бұрын
In light of the ongoing global economic crisis, it is crucial for everyone to prioritize investing in diverse sources of income that are not reliant on the government. This includes exploring opportunities in stocks, gold, silver, and digital currencies. Despite the challenging economic situation, it remains a favorable time to consider these investments.
@rogerwheelers43222 күн бұрын
Gold and Silver are often seen as a safe-haven asset that can protect against inflation and economic uncertainty. But like any investment, it carries risks. To determine if gold is the right investment option for you, an investment advisor can help you weigh the potential benefits and risks of investing in gold. They can also help you create a well-diversified portfolio that includes gold as part of a broader investment strategy. An investment advisor can help you decide how much of your portfolio should be allocated to gold and select other investments that can complement your gold holdings.

It’s not the interest rates. It’s the money printing, asset inflation and government spending - and not on things like ‘entitlements’. Things like our leaders living like Gods and raining down money on foreign countries like Ukraine.

The recession scare is surreal and the market is really panicking at this moment and I'm worried what effect this frenzy could have on my portfolio of about 80k. Could you make any recommendations on how I could preserve my portfolio during this period and also make profit from the market situation?
@Fred-w7t2 күн бұрын
Well, this could be a very good time to make profit from the market. But because it's a frantic period, it's often best you employ the service of a financial advisor. I was up almost 90% during the COVID crash because I was working with one.
@Jeffery-f2e2 күн бұрын
I had a similar experience. A financial advisor could really help you re-adjust and identify blindspots that you yourself do not notice, like mine did in advising me during COVID on how the pandemic will shape things, and I made it out big and still make up to at least 20k in dividend per month.

Wow, that's incredible. Could you recommend who you work with? I really could use some help at this moment please.

How bout the middle class those of us they are trying to break. We are paying for everything and feeling it trying to keep our modest lives afloat. America the good America goes away without a healthy middle class. We are seeing this big time
@zwatwashdc2 күн бұрын
The dems will go hard against the middle class hard if they win again. There just are not enough rich people. They need to tax middle class to the hilt to keep the party going for them and their friends .

The pandemic really distorted the performance of both Trump and Biden. The pandemic hurt Trump's job numbers. The stimulus given by both Trump and Biden caused the inflation in 2021 through 2023.

My question would be over in Ukraine. We're sending money to Ukraine. Isn't that war time? I mean, we're not sending troops, but we're sending money. So we're participating in war time, sending money to another country to do the dirty work of war

Programs like this serve content to the people you meet at dinner parties who pretend to know what is going to happen and speculate over nothing. Its super simple, economy is wrecked globally. If where you live english is spoken, you are already in recession. Dont buy anything you dont need, sell everything you dont need. Trim the "fat". When economy is rubbish, government projects and government spending keeps peoples pitchforks and torches away. What is government spending money on? Focus on that. Invest in that. Develop your business strategy based on that to milk it for all its got. These 'suits' are just corporate puppets. Coming from a former high level corporate puppet myself who left the game to make real money.
