Today my Mother of 88 years passed away after a long battle with illness, over the past couple of years she had become a great fan of yours. Watching every Vlog you have uploaded. She cried when Dillon past away and loved to watch Ottis grow up. She always asked to watch you guys Fridays at 4 pm. I would like to thank you Shaun and Colin for bringing happiness to her through your Vlogs. Good luck and hopefully one day see you on the K&A . Many Thanks Ian

Agreed!! I'd much rather have the genuine person "warts and all" then to have someone trying to fit a mold that will only wipe the energy out and leave them emotionally fragile. @@lindastorey6685 that's exactly why it was written in quotes. The point being that the word normal is a misleading term as normal does exist and while its a term that is quite common, it's an inaccurate term.

I could relate, too. My buffering happens around formulating a response. My brain is racing to think if what I'm saying is accurate and concise because I don't want to leave out anything important but still not talk for too long or somehow offend the person I'm talking to. Any sign of impatience just makes it worse. It's a challenge.

I have had something called fibromyalgia since 1986 but was only diagnosed in Jan 2000. For all those years I have been suffering something generally called 'fibro fog' - my brain can stop mid sentence and I have no idea what I am trying to say, they words just disappear. Thank you Colin for putting a face to your issues with "adult" ASD, too often we struggle in silence trying to appear "normal" while feeling like we are on the outside looking in. Shaun you are the perfect compliment to Colin helping him to keep one foot in reality even if his mind is going down rabbit holes. Something like Crick I could manage as just an anonymous person (with some "get away time" sitting on the end of a dock), I can't really imagine how you managed with "just a few wobbles" but we sometimes surprise ourselves with what we manage to do... as long as we know that we have decompress time at the end. 😊😍❤️🏳️🌈

You two are so funny, you cheer me up. I’m living alone since losing hubby 2019 and being arthritic it’s been really lonely. Your pod casts cheer me up. Wish they did retirement housing right by canal, I could sit their waving at passers by.

"Normal?", I've always said that theres no such thing. Normal cannot be defined.. If people say its to be like everyone else I say but no 2 people are the same, not even twins. You own your uniqueness and your both awesome. 😉❤️😍

“I love rides where you get wet” 😂 Me too mate, me too 🙈😆 Cool drone shots btw. And funny editing in this episode. Those ponds at the staircase locks are indeed quite ingenious. During the upgrade of the Panamacanal they put in new bigger locks WITH (water saving) ponds next to them. So there is still use in these modern times for centuries old ideas 👍🏼

I wish my son Michael could meet the two of you. He’s hit a rough patch recently and I feel that he could really benefit from your ability to meet and survive situations. Otis has earned himself a few extra treats.
