@@dakmycat3688 The military expects innovation and exceeding expectations from their enlisted and commissioned men and women, until that innovation proves too bothersome or requires too much effort from someone with a star or two. A tale as old as time unfortunately. Regardless, I think the lengths the SF went in regards to punishing Lohmeier is extreme - officers get sacked, freeze their careers, etc, but to be entirely removed and lose pension? Hell, Oliver North was allowed to voluntarily request to retire from the Marines and managed to keep his pension in the end after the entire Iran-Contra affair, but don't make the mistake of suggesting DEI has it's faults...

@@KailyKail it's fairly simple, the two concepts are mutually exclusive. If you want the best person for the job their race or gender cannot be any part of the decision making process. If race or gender are a requirement for a job then logically you are excluding people who could be the best person for the job because of their race or gender. I work in the Federal Government and this is what I threw in their face. They backed down and accepted it. I'm not required to do any more DEI training. You just have to know how to present your case vs bucking the system.

What they went after him for in that particular case was a series of standard business practices that under any other circumstance wouldn't even be possible to prosecute. No one of the main reasons is Americans don't want to go die fighting to protect foreign countries, die fighting a foreign states wars while their own country is being invaded, destroyed. I've talked to several people who said they had stopped their son from joining the military because they didn't want their son sacrificed for a foreign state, the foreign owned and run Washington DC criminal enterprises foreign interest. The military today is not fighting for America, Americans and that's a fact. Or haven't you noticed America is being invaded, Americans are losing their rights, freedom that a military is supposed to be protecting instead of being overseas fighting for, protecting, dying for a foreign state, down on our border aiding the invasion, helping invaders on buses

He's automatically making an equivalence to Communism to attack the position of these officers. Essentially screaming COMMIEEE when he doesn't get his way. There have been plenty of times in history where someone other than the conventional military personnel helped in something adjacent to combat. Morale for example. Chaplains are another example. We aren't really presented with anything other than his opinion so we have no way to know if the situation truly was political in the way he presents it. It's more likely he was already political and his dismissal was repercussion since he contacted and did an interview with a political undertone on a political channel, as he wouldn't have the incentives to do so as retaliation. Sorry, am in the middle of post 🥜 clarity and decided to randomly analyse this guy's interview.

Psychology is the biggest growth factor of any company. It’s all to create a like minded approach in any industry youre in. So regardless of race or creed each person in said establishment has a likeminded attitude and approach towards achieving a common goal. The military is a business at the end of the day. The business will continue to run whether one agrees with current policies or not. Some things are just better left unsaid especially at his level.

As an enlisted veteran, I agree with the commander. More over, this divisive training is one of the reasons many are not reenlisting and choosing to retire early, this is a huge problem for all branches, none are meeting their recruitment and retention targets. No-one wants to join an organization were your life depends on the people you are serving with, when these people are being advanced not on merit, but merely to meet a diversity quota!

I’m a USAFA grad. Not the first time I’ve heard about these agenda driven DEI initiatives being prioritized over operational effectiveness. Truth be told, due to the nature of the military (e.g soldiers & airmen being thrust together into operational units from all walks of life, representing all races, all socioeconomic groups, all religions, and both genders), the services are already more diverse, organically, than just about any other organization or entity in society. That’s fact, not an agenda-driven talking point. DEI focus in the military is trying to fix something that isn’t broken, and therefore must logically be about politics, not rational behavior.
