I was bullied back in middleschool (juniorhigh) i was nerdy but somewhat popular with some girls that the bullies liked, so i got picked on and i used to get assaulted in toilets so i mainly stayed in my classroom during breaks, i didn't fight back because there were rumours that some local gangs were connected to the school's bullies, so i didnt wanna risk getting ambushed on my way home and get my bones fractured and potentially die.... I literally had to sneak 70% of the time when i was about to head home after school. Truly Tough times... i can't wait to be a teacher and solve these issues as much as possible , even if it's a single victim of bullying ,that's worth it.

If schools would actually do their job, and protect all the students, and not just the bullies. There wouldn't be a bully problem. Schools usually just make the bullying worse, while saying they are helping. smh I had to threaten taking cure of my bullies myself, since the Vice Principal for the 3rd time did nothing to help me. After I did that, he finally did something, and I didn't have anymore problems after that. I don't know what he did, but it was effective. He should probably have written a book on it or something, and sold millions. School sucks in the first place, but to have to deal with people making your life hell, and the adults that are suppose to protect you, turn a blind eye, and do basically nothing to protect you, makes it so many times worse. You keep pushing someone into a corner, eventually, your not going to like what comes out of it.

As a kid who fought off bullied in high school I can tell you that you should just run and if you’re notably smaller in size, especially if you’re female, be careful, you’re probably gonna get rekt and end up in hospital, it's unwinnable if you get swarmed coz bullies often have an entire group of people. If U need to beat some of them so they back off and stop bulling you, train cardio and be defensive, out run the group and take them out 1 by 1 coz they’re going to be chasing after u at different speeds. Never confront a group of people unless you’re confident u can out run them when it goes south or they will destroy u. If you’re female, try not to start something physical, your bone density is not as high and you’ll generally lose to most male bullies. It’s better to use society’s “guys shouldn’t hit a girl” rule to try and get sympathy against male bullies, they can’t defeat the entire school. Against female bullies, you can probably just fight them if you’ve had any sort of fight training.

There was a big girl like twice my size/weight, built amazon at my highschool who did try bully me, I ignored it at first but she crossed the line by throwing the sharp end of a compass at my head. I decided that was the last straw and had a physical confrontation with her, I didn't go easy on her coz she was huge and TBH I barely won that fight but u could see she was shocked that a male would physically assault her, in her mind she thought she could just do w/e she wanted and no guy would touch her. No matter what gender you are, fucking learn to fight. This is far more important than anything because if you don't learn then you'll always be bullied, pushed around and it will hurt your confidence, your self esteem to such a level you'll regret never learning to fight. You learn for one year boxing and a non trained bully who fights you has no chance. You'll be able to protect yourself and those you care about, and even those who are weak and need help. Honestly bullies are cowards so anytime someone does handle it by fighting back like this girl does, I applaud them as it's those who work at the school allowing the bullying along with the families of the bullies who are a bigger part of the problem. I actually once read a new article a few years ago where a boy fought back against his bullies, he got suspended despite it being reported to the school many times that the boy was being bullied by those he beat up and was on record too no less. So way I see it if it comes down to a situation like this, than by all means as I'd rather it be handled in a proper fair fight than how it normally is these days. I know what it's like to be bullied and I got in trouble for fighting back against two different girls who were bullying me, one never bothered me against, while the other when we met again in high school, showed why she deserved to be punched in the first place as she started up again.

It`s so bad to hear that is a normal thing to have people bulling others, is really sad. I knew that is a good thing to learn martial arts so one could defend ourselves in a dangerous situation on the street, but have to learn how to protect ourselves when you are going to learn at school what you can do to live a better life, to help others is unspeakable. So now we also have to teach the kids not just how to get along with the classmates but also how to defend and protect themselves. So then, when they are going to learn to have a friend, to have good and healthy fun, to learn how to go go after their dreams, how to help each others. It remainds me about a group of classsmates that I had long ago, they make a circle around me and push me from one side to the other, at the same time they were saying things to me, that I don`t remember, but I do remenber the faces and the circle and the yelling, thank God It was just that, but the memory still is in my mynd even do I don`t think about it, things like this movie and this comments, make ke remember that episode of my life, at that time I didn`t knew that I was being bullied and I fell sad that they trear that way without me doing anything wrong to them, I could not find why they did that at all. So know that I know bettter, seing somebody being bulling even worst makes me sad. Makes think, what happend to the people that are bullies to be like that and I pray for them to God, to find someting in their hearts to make change their ways to be, Everybody can be better in different ways, I know sometimes is hard, but is worht it, because we can fell better with ourselves and share it with others. By the way, good for the girl that she knows well how to protect herself and others, she is really good on doing that. Thank you for the excellent explanation in a real clear english, it was good to find Fox Recaps, cause sometimes I find a video, but is just music and you have to make a guess on what is happening. I stopped my brother from bullying me my last year of high school. He'd always been taller and heavier but this day he found out that didn't matter. I'd been studying Tang Soo-Do and this particular day I was tired and not in too good of a mood. As soon as I walked into the kitchen and put my books down he started trying to hit me. He said that he wanted to see if I had learned anything in my class. My reflex and instincts kicked in and blocked all of his blows. After one block I struck him in the solar plexus with a heel of palm. He wasn't wearing a shirt and the stove was preheating. The strike caused him to move back up against it. Oh, the look on his face! Apparently he figured out I had been learning a few things because that was the last time he did that. I weighed 122 pounds at the time and his weight was almost double mine. Two months later I was in Basic Combat Training and before I left active duty I had a couple of bullies I had to contend with. There was also a drunk in South Korea on my second tour who tried to hit me over the head with a full beer bottle. He didn't like the outcome. In my youth I was on the small side and I guess some idiots thought I was a pushover until they found out otherwise.
