Exactly, my daughter went to a PWI her first year and she was miserable. Then she transferred to a HBCU, where she finished, totally different on her mentally, and she came out being very proud and unapologetically black which was a plus. I would recommend black people going to HBCU's.

HBCUs are great! I would’ve loved to have attended a hbcu. Unfortunately, hbcus aren’t offering the same financial aid packages as PWIs because of lack of funding. When I applied to Xavier and Spellman, they offered me little or nothing to attend. I completely understand they don’t have the same funding to do so but, when it comes to me taking out loans to go to an hbcu vs. going to a PWI for almost free, I gotta go where it’s free 🤷🏾‍♀️ I do hope that funding is increased for HBCUs so that other black students don’t have to make that difficult decision.

Yes this is the same reason I didn't go to Hampton. I was an early admit to Hampton, yet they only offered me student loans even tho my mom was a single parent with 3 other kids at home.and her income was just working class. I had to choose the state university which covered everything with a small loan but I did live on campus. I could have went for free absent room and board. I couldn't afford an hbcu.

I have to agree with Al and Funky regarding the View situation. Sunny went viral with her perspective of what’s going on at the boarder and I don’t think Kamala wanted to address it. It’s crazy to me that a show as big as the View would make such mistake.
