The wife and I took a two week trip to the Gold Coast several years ago and spent all of 2 days of it at the beach...the rest was spent with some bogans we met who took us to the races at Willowbank. It was the best vacation we ever had before or since and as a Kentucky farm boy who's been a few places (Oorah!) I've never felt so welcome so far away. A couple of years later that same couple came here and we returned the favor. Australia is a 10 out of 10.

Im not from america, but have been watching super bowl every year.. this is the best performance of the national anthem i have ever heard. The Tone and atmosphere he created, matched and amplified everything that makes super bowl what it is. To say it short, he really hit the g spot, big time.

I love how unabashedly American the Super Bowl is: military color guards, a shot of an aircraft carrier, a country musician with a smokey voice singing the star spangled banner playing the electric guitar, fighter jets streaming overhead, and, of course, american football itself is incredibly American. This Super Bowl was amazing. No headlines of nips showing, over sexy, fights breaking out, etc. It was the first time in a LONG time, I watched and thought my kids 10 and under could watch. It has been embarrassing for years, thank you to everyone who turned it around.

I have been to thousands of Chiefs games in my lifetime, every playoff game on the road and all three superbowls. I’ve heard hundreds of these and I get chills every time, but this one sent shock waves through my spine. I was speechless I couldn’t move I cried and it was the proudest moment I think I have ever had to be an American. God Bless the USA

They got the two best people to do the National Anthem 2 years in a row Super Bowl LVII (Chris Stapleton) & LVIII (Reba McEntire) two WONDERFUL performers who didn't need any glamour to have a GREAT performance and make the football players cry. There was so much feeling behind both performances and both teams played their hearts out both games that's why they were so close. I think the national anthem performer is what really makes these teams play their hardest the feel that power of being an american and knowing that they have all those american fans in the stands that paid 100's - 1000's of dollars to be there and the million's of american's watching at home when they hear an anthem like these two gave it makes them proud to be an AMERICAN! And THAT is when they play their best we actually have Super Bowl's worth watching.
