Its really sad whats happening right now, the season before last.....He won the mvp throwing 41 tds and won the super bowl mvp with one good ankle, last season with one of the worst receiving core, throw for 4k and 27 tds going on to win the super bowl. And this season with a record of 2-0, throwing 442 yards with 3tds and 3ints, with basically the same receiving core apart from xazier worthy and brown injured. And this is the conversation we are having....really, damn I guess having 40 tds and exiting in the playoff every year is the standard now.

Mahomes has gotten to the point in his career where the only thing that matters is winning. And if the winning game plan is him throwing 180-220 passing yards and using the more methodical approach, so be it. That is a much more sustainable method than relying on your QB to get 400 yards passing and win in a shootout every week. Mahomes has proven he can do that, but its not as effective as grinding away methodically at your opponent.
