They don’t care about player safety . They care about lawsuits . And they’re not getting any lawsuits for 3 games in 11 days . They don’t care , they never cared . The sport got watered down for one reason and one reason only - $$$$$$$$$. That’s it . And has the injury rate decreased ? Nope . The opposite in fact . Because teams are only aloud 14 padded practices in an 18 week , 17 game season . So 4 weeks and 3 games worth - no pads in practice . Result? The product we have today . But guess what ? This isn’t the NBA . People are watching regardless . Fantasy , gambling , etc - it doesn’t matter what team is playing on what night because somebody is betting on it . And as long as people are betting , people are watching , and as long as people are watching , the nfl don’t give a rats ass about how anybody feels about Thursday night football . Sorry for the rant .

An idea that could work is to have the Thursday night games played by teams coming off their bye week. Teams would have eleven days off before they play and eleven days off after the game.

Thursday Night Football gave us the best games this season Ravens v Chiefs Vikings v Rams Bengals v Ravens Schmuccaneers v Falcons Steelers v Browns Packers v Lions The past couple weeks Rain was a big factor. Only reason Rob keeps bringing up this is because nobody cares about baseball. If it is upto Rob, no one would play any other sport in his country other than baseball. Well, I'm gonna reiterate, nobody cares about baseball. I live outside USA, and there is a massive fillowing for basketball all over the world. And yes the whole world plays the actual and real football, but, the NFL is growing on people slowly. Heck I live on the Middle East and the country I reside in actually has an amateur NFL league that started a few years ago, but no one cares about baseball and it eats Rob, so he keeps poking holes in NFL and the NBA. The only bad thing about TNF is the quality of teams. NFL has 17 weeks, they can't tell me they can't find a way to give us a decent matchup every week on Thursday, like they do Mondays. Since you already have Sunday as the main day, stick the Jaguars, the Colts, my Bears and Arizona, etc., on Sunday and leave a chance for markee matchups on Thursdays and Mondays
