I live in Palm Beach county, Southeast Florida. We were ok, but the western areas of Broward,Palm Beach, Okeechobee, Martin and St Lucie counties were severely damaged by insane tornadoes.. A sheriff, who was on vacation was called in for St Lucie county - 4 dead , severe damage everywhere. One can prepare for hurricanes, but tornadoes are a different monster,as many know.

To add, anytime you're buying a used car be vigilant- always always check its history via Carfax and any / all possible ways including having it inspected prior to buying

I know of a couple who intentionally went to Florida on vacation at this time. They knew ahead of time there was going to be a hurricane. Evacuation orders need to be taken seriously.
