Foxygen deserves more credit for their music. This is an awesome song

These guys never cease to amaze. Just when they've got psychedelia down to a science they pull off some early R&B grooves that can vie with any of the best. I saw them in Philly last week and they were crazy good. Their new Star Power is great.

It's sad to see that people think that you have to be high to feel music. This music isn't about the money, or the reception of the media. It's about the expression of art and the music vibration.

Foxygen seriously are criminally underrated and it's because they take derivative sounds and make them sound VERY new, which then pisses off all the greats, Rundgren, McCartney, Nilsson, Lennon, Ariel Pink, etc

SONG OF THE DAY (8 NOVEMBER 2014) Foxygen - Coulda Been My Love (2014) Even by their occasionally somewhat more mainstream pop standards, Foxygen cannot hide their leftfield psychedelic approach, which would prevent them from becoming media megastars but a charismatic frontman and the band's authenticity could preserve their long-term cult status. facebook.com/newpsychedelia?ref=hl
