Rado does have a good knowledge in recording and producing which is probably even more important than his involvement in Foxygen, he really gives them the "sound". He has a great musical imagination

What type of bass is that 4:56 during the cleaner part? A jazz with both pickups on? That is such a great tone.
@coliepolie1237 жыл бұрын
It sounds hollow body to me like maybe a Hofner.
@dancingcheeseproductions41277 жыл бұрын
It's probably the same bass they use live, Rado let the Lemon Twigs use it for their debut album
@GoatDust6 жыл бұрын
I know they used to use a Klira Twen Star bass. It’s a Hofner copy from the same era and I believe it was manufactured in the same town the old Hofners were. The other bass they’d use was an old Silvertone 1443. Could also just be a rick, it’s hard to tell.

Anyone know any details on how one goes about trigger from the linndrum? Is it done by midi or can the linndrum be triggered with audio? or did they use software like trigger?
@Hashdollars6 жыл бұрын
cameron murphy he says he triggers the linndrum with the snare, that means he has a drum trigger set above the snare and when you hit the snare the sound triggers whatever sound he selects from the linndrum

What does Sam play? I have heard him say he plays music in several videos, but what?? I'm so confused.
@dancingcheeseproductions41277 жыл бұрын
He doesn't play anything on this particular album. When he does play an instrument, which he has done on every other album, he usually plays drums, piano, horns, or rhythm guitar.
