Heard this song tonight for the first time......fell in love with it. Had never heard of Foy Vance before but after hearing this song I looked him up and have been listening to his music for hours now and have added them all to my play list. I love his voice and the way he sings.

Brilliant, great lyrics, and guitar work. One guy and 1 guitar, beautiful,and humble. Like the reference to Holy wine and new wine. My adult kids introduced me to his music several years ago, with " indiscriminate act of kindness" and "Gabriel". A gifted artist with I sense a deep spirituality. Thanks Foy

count 3 movements for each chord. tune the guitar 1 whole step down. Have in mind that during much time of this song, he's holding the same position on the 2 high strings -3- (high E string) -1- (B string) so G for example sounds a bit different because it's like: -3- -3- -1- -1- -0- or -0- -0- -0- -2- --- --- -3- I know I'm a little late, but I just saw your comment!
