Randy Omollo I came up learning FL from Game (BWB), but this guy is my favorite. Eloquent, ideas succinctly put; he has a pleasant voice and a knack for teaching I think. I can listen to this guy for an hour np. I’m a fan.

Hey man, how to roll drums without piano roll? Like autobeats in NanoStudio? I mean 1/16, 1/32 and so on. I though that in the FPC there is such thing. But didn't find out. But I saw where with midi doing that

I'm a veteran musician. Some eight years ago l branched out into sound engineering as a hobby. But since l started watching your videos in January this year, my knowledge of fl studio has deepened exeedingly and l'm fast approaching a level of proficiency l had never imagined. @@brokenhero6828 Having it all on one piano roll (and labeled, I think) is very nice. Being able to load different samples for different velocities is very nice, too. I can see myself creating digital drums in Sytrus, for example, and just creating different samples with different velocities, then loading them into FPC to have clear sounds and lower CPU usage.

FPC is great. i love the random layer function. The proportion of the active velocity range, for a layer, acts as probability of that layer being triggered. The pad can also be set to 'Cut by' itself, further ensuring only one of the layers is sounded.
