In this video I show you everything you need to know about the Gross Beat plugin. This plugin can be used in almost any DAW but comes stock in FL Studio 20 Signature Edition. This is so freaking cool! Thanks a lot for sharing this! In fact it's very odd that this video came up in my KZbin recommendations. The day before yesterday I came up with the maths for the time-based effects magic (except the time reversing part) for a study project. I used this sort of remixing for audio data augmentation since I had too few data for my Deep Learning model. I had problems with chirps too, but not being a musician I didn't know there's a thing like Attack and Release. Next time I need to do this sort of stuff I'll try to automate it using FL Studio

Thank you, I guess what I do is try to see the plugin from the perspective of a complete beginner who has big aspirations, but apply my deeper understanding to it. I always ask myself "what would I have wanted to know he first time I was introduced to the plugin?". I also discard or re work a few of my tutorials if I know they are time wasting. I really value the viewers time :)

Help ! im having trouble with my gross beat ! When i play the track(song) lets say 2-3 bar early from where i have used gross beat(sample) it doesnt give any scratch effect ! but when i play exactly from where my sample starts then it plays with scratch effect !! what problem am i facing ! ???????

this is a big problem with gross beat. the only solution i've found is to use edison in the mixer below grossbeat to record the desired effect to audio and drag it into the playlist. or if you're on FL12.5 or higher you can use the "render render as audio clip" feature on your pattern with gross beat enabled but that will include all your other mixer fx as well.

I have a question on how using Gross Beat to change the timing of the sample/pattern affects the final cumulative timing of the sample/pattern. For example, if I have a sample/pattern loop that is originally 10 seconds long, if I slow down the beat by 1/2, won't the final sample/pattern loop then be 20 seconds long?

Record beat section or pattern section with Red record button, then put that section in a seperate mixer channel, put gross beat on there

Grossbeat is one of my favorite go to fx, i use it on almost every sound to gate or to groove and also as envelope on the master. but i think you forgot to mention a pretty big feature on the grossbeat. in the option menue under tools there is The sequence feat. just a tip.
