On Pedro's flight, I think there's an assumption that players are always afforded a private jet back to their clubs after intl break - when I was flying back from Qatar recently, the Asian Cup had just finished and Son was on my commercial flight, he just happened to be in business class

Harry - stay away from Jackson up front? I have something similar to your Salah/Haaland draft by Jackson up front - just think a Chelsea asset will be handy for the next 2-3 weeks. (I have Lewis not Porro at the back to allow for it). Feels like Brentford have tough week 4 and 5 fixtures and then I could make a move for Havertz week 6 from JAckson - though Brentford's fixtures are also great when Arsenals are too....

Porro to 4.5mill defender and then Wissa to Jackson to cover Chelsea attack with their good fixtures and he has 2 goals and 1 assist already, 0.8xG per 90 and looks pretty nailed in the prem.

Hmmm, interesting. Double Arsenal defense from GW8 onwards will play against BOU (A), LIV (H), NEW (A), CHE (A), while Gvardiol will play against WOL (A), SOU (H), BOU (A), BHA (A). Yet, I've never seen any Gvardiol drafts. Is that because of expected minutes? If so, I still prefer Trent/Robbo against CHE (H), ARS (A), BHA (H), AVL (H). The attack seems fine, I guess. Two cheap attackers seem like the way to go.

There will be fixture swings, injuries and plenty of times before Christmas where I expect I will want a wildcard. 3FTs between now and GW6 to get Arsenal. I will just be patient, maybe a player or two away from template and WC around GW12.Maybe if I had 4-5 FT in the bank then wC in GW6 would work. Otherwise a long time until the next WC.

Because you bench him and he is ready for GW 6/7 as all Wild Carders will in GW 6 will have him. You also can't play 8 attackers you need to bench one.

Konate and Lewis have slight rotation worries so I'd have Porro as a nailed defender. Also, 2 Liverpool slots on Konate and Alisson feels like a waste when I'd rate Trent, Robbo, Salah, Diaz as all better picks.

There is no way Diaz starts for Liverpool. He played peru on saturday, Argentina wednesday, 7hr flight home from S.America and then you expect him to play a 3rd game in 1 week after a flight where he probably gets a rest day on friday so no training....? Starts on the bench, 100%

I see it the other way around. I would prefer Rogers over Semenyo, he was involved and the ball will go into the net in their easier fixtures in the future. Villa are due some goals, while Bornemouth overperformed and have plenty of tough games now. Also saves half a million. Maybe I have a blind spot, not sure?

I’m planning on captaining Salah in GW4, 5 & 6 so imo it’s better to build a stronger team for next 3 GW with Palmer, Watkins etc then get Haaland in GW7.

Well, if your playing goalkeeper is Pickford, you can’t even guarantee that at least 3 of your defenders will start anymore, no Liverpool defence, no Palmer, tripled up on Newcastle,and you only have 1 of the Haaland/Salah pair…. For those who lucked in and chose well going into gameweek one, it is too easy to view things in hindsight. Before the season started, no one could have truthfully predicted just how bad Pickford would be, Liverpool being cleansheet monsters for the first time in their history, Barco, Castagne etc not playing at all, and so on. Now the transfer window’s shut and we’ve had a chance to see the teams in action, it’s time for a reset.

Clean sheets just isn’t our thing normally. Slot’s system is different though. We are much more defensively solid now. Hence why I want to get in a LFC defender.

I don't know how anyone is talking about no Haaland. I remember before the season started there was a lot of people who weren't putting him in their team. Everyone in the league I'm in, that didn't go Haaland is now so far behind everyone that did.

That's because Salah trolled the captaincy. If people wouldn't captain Isak gw1 and Saka gw3, Salah would scored exactly same points as Haaland, and they would have 2.5mio stronger team. But this is gw to gw luck - by the end of the season Haaland will have much more points than Salah methinks.

Certainly some Haaland teams have done very well. But Salah points equal Haaland so far. In my minileague the top scorer has no Haaland. Depends really on cheaper players. Team with Semenyo, ESR, Pedro is doing better than ones with Nkunku, Rogers, Bruno etc, regardless of whether they have Haaland or Salah 😊
