Thanks for doing some episodes on drones and racing quads! I'm starting to dabble my feet in the kitty pool of fpv quads right now by getting some real beginner components. I have found ways of getting started for even cheaper than what y'all said. Here's what I've done: For the fpv goggles: there are these 5.8 GHz video receivers that plug straight into and are powered by my phone. Through a viewing app, my phone then becomes a screen to watch the FPV feed. I got the Eachine ROTG02 from banggood for $20. I then bought some VR goggles to put my phone into which cost another $20, but there are plenty of cheaper options. Drone (quad): I got the Eachine E010s for $50 from banggood. It is a bind n' fly option that comes with everything to fly except the transmitter (remote). There are other options like the Eachine M80s for $70 that includes the transmitter if you don't want to buy a good one. Transmitter (remote): I wanted to get a transmitter that I could use for the extent of the hobby as well as other branches such as RC planes. For this reason, I got the FrSky Taranis Q X7, which is a 16 channel programmable transmitter that can fly a quad to the moon and back. It cost around $100 on amazon. But like I said earlier, if you don't want to get a swiss army knife of a transmitter, stick with the ready to fly options that come with a cheap remote that only works with that one drone. There are also cheaper but still good transmitter options around All that said, if you get bare minimum components like a ready to fly drone with a transmitter and already have a phone, you can get FPV flight for around $100. I hope this comment can help some wandering FPV-interested viewer who has nothing better to do than read my dissertation of a comment. Also thanks Modern Rogue. Y'all is cool

In the beginning Jason was talking about my idea for the Super Olympics. A competition where the athlete can use every kind of doping and body modification he/she wants. This would be very interesting to watch, because the athlete would be basically monsters and it will help medical and scientific research

I've been advocating that a long time, too, be kind of like body building, where they have a "natural" league and then the "pros" who everyone knows is doping. I think it would bring up a lot of moral questions though, especially things like do young college athletes understand what they're doing to their futures when getting into something like this. We both know people will do anything, recklessly, to get an edge. While I enjoy the idea of this, we're expecting/hoping people would do it responsibly, and we know they sure as hell won't. Still, neat to see someone else out there having the idea, was nice to meet you :) Be well

Soon we need an episode on how to defend against drones. Passive and active drone defense. Whether it's hacking their frequency or some sort of net system. I've seen them being used in Ukraine to spot for guns. Maybe ways to conceal from aerial view?

On another topic, when Brian ran off and wanted Jason to find him with the drone, it occurred to me that cops could use drones to find criminals relatively cheaply and quickly. It would certainly be quicker than getting a helicopter on the scene. Just a thought.

Nym Alous some police departments already utilize drones to find people one of my buddies who is a cop is on the drone team they use it to find fleeing supects or for survalance and during search warrants those things are awesome

I have finally found out what the concrete circle on the property is. I was scrolling through reddit and I came across a post about how the circle is actually for keeping baby chickens in. The baby chickens can’t climb out but the mother hens can get over easily allowing them to roam while the baby’s stay put.

The intro made me think of something: you should do a video on nootropics. Its pretty awesome shit, you can take different supplements to enhance brain function, anything from omega 3 to alpha gpc(which also has the ability to strengthen lucid dreaming...pretty sick shit) Theres been doubleblind tests done on some different supplements so its not woowoo, but something to think about, its helped me while playing guitar, archery, gaming, etc
