FPV Flying G2 V2 & Crash RD 6

Another day out with this 'fun' bird trying for a successful flight. With 2 cameras loaded onboard I am hoping to get some clues as to whats happening to make this experience so baffling. This time I am really fighting the controls to keep it from banking to the right, even though the ailerons were checked for zero angle before take off. In the final stages of the roll, the servos are seen to not move, this was happening even though i had the sticks pushed full to the left, after the crash the servos are seen to be in the fully right position as if they were locked in, maybe it was caused by gyroscopic inertia being more powerful than the servos???
I'd love to get feedback from some of my trusted & more experienced gyro pilots. Many thanks in advance

I feel your pain as I am also trying to master mine. Waiting on new blades after three and a half orbits of the field. I have increased the rudder throw and reduced the roll rate hoping to rely on flatter turns to avoid fighting the gyro effect. Thank you for sharing and good luck. Jim

Hiya, it sounds like you’re doing all the right things, defo reducing aileron throws should help and double check your c of g. Some people are saying that it’s abit tail heavy. Best of luck 🤞

Maybe the servos are just not man enough once its in flight. Maybe swap them out with some higher torque metal geared one? Also, are you remembering to turn the pre start spin up motor off as soon as you're airborne?

I wonder if the servos are stripped from an earlier crash or something? Are they plastic gear micro servos? Strange they did not show problems on the preflight inspection.before this flight. I just got mine yesterday and assembled it but have yet to install a receiver and test all leads because none where marked. I also need to balance the blades and propeller. Please let us know if the servos are bad. If so I will upgrade them before my maiden flight with metal gear servos of the best quality.Thanks and I hope you are able to have a awesome gyro chopper someday with no crashes. Watching you endure this journey has been interesting for sure and I pray you will defeat the gremlins that have been a pain for you.

I have the Maiden flight of my G2V2 on my channel if you have the time to watch. I may upgrade these servos but my flight went very well and I got no trimming necessary The blades need rebalanced but that is a minor thing, @@rcpilots1291

SO YOUR THE GUY WHO BOUGHT ALL THE EXTRA MAIN BLADES!! My maiden looked like your "day 5" flight, destroying all 3 main rotor blades. Tgat wascmonths ago, and I haven't been able to buy replacement blades since. 😣 C'mon Hobby King, when are replacement blades expected to be available again? 🤷‍♂️

Hi John, I am completely baffled as to what is happening. I have tried so many times - I know I’m not an autogyro pro but I’ve flown enough planes and helis to be able to do a better job than this . It feels like I do not have control, maybe it’s time to ‘hang up my boots’ 😅

@JohnVHRC they move inline with stick input- right input = aileron dip downwards 👍

@@rcpilots1291 ok, had someone else asking me what way they should go, and it made me wonder if your ailerons were backwards perhaps, trying to think of why yours is crashing.. Right aileron = head leans right.
