I'm a divorced father of two. My wife took my daughter and fled my state. We were traditional Catholic when we were married, now I sit back and watch as that poor woman defiles herself with man after man after man, causing nothing but disgusted from my perspective. I'm going to tell you right now, if you really want to stick your toe in the water is a divorce you will drown, all your children will walk away from the faith. it is so not worth it. There is no greater turmoil than watching your children suffer because of your mistakes, your sins. Please, offer up the suffering union with the holy sacrifice of the Mass for your husband and your children. Marriage is not easy. Only a fool would think that it's everything that you see in Disney. I'm not saying you are, I'm not saying you do. But take it from a man who's been faithful to his wife despite the divorce, there's nothing that crushes you more than watching your children suffer because of your spouse. don't do it, God is giving us this suffering now to prepare us for what is about to happen in upcoming months and years. Trust me, once we get over that hurdle all this will seem like nothing. That's how great the joy will be. Just pray to persevere one day at a time. That is the secret.I don't know who you are, I will try to remember you in my rosary. And your children and your husband. Don't be a single mom. You have no idea what that does to you.

@@michaelchen8906 First, how could God be born from a sinner? Luke 1: 26 In the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent by God to a town in Galilee called Nazareth, 27 to a virgin betrothed to a man named Joseph, of the House of David; and the virgin's name was Mary. 28 He went in and said to her, 'Rejoice, you who enjoy God's favor! The Lord is with you.' 29 She was deeply disturbed by these words and asked herself what this greeting could mean, 30 but the angel said to her, 'Mary, do not be afraid; you have won God's favour. 31 Look! You are to conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you must name him Jesus. 32 He will be great and will be called Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give him the throne of his ancestor David; 33 he will rule over the House of Jacob for ever and his reign will have no end.' 34 Mary said to the angel, 'But how can this come about, since I have no knowledge of man?' 35 The angel answered, 'The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will cover you with its shadow. And so the child will be holy and will be called Son of God. Second, if you are a Catholic, you do not know your faith. Finally, if you are not a Catholic, why did you click on the video? 8:06 Please pray Two years ago, I had a frightening encounter with Jesus, which led me to repent and dedicate my life to Christ. I have returned to the Catholic Church and feel a calling to educate children about our faith and prayers. I believe I received a message from God instructing me to guide the children spiritually and keep them close to Him. Let us pray for strength to overcome the challenges from evil forces. In a world where superheroes from Marvel have replaced Roman mytholgy and games of devils, children struggle to focus and have short attention spans. As a father of a 6-year-old boy and currently separated from my wife, I witness how the devil is breaking families apart. I am determined to be a living example of resisting these destructive influences. Your prayers are greatly appreciated.
@cherriceann117 ай бұрын
Dear Sir, the very best way to begin this is to fix your relationship with your wife first!! And be an excellent example of the Catholic Faith to your son. Before any other children can be helped by you and your desire- it must be the salvation of your own soul, your wife and your son by doing what is right, correct and just and fixing your marriage for the good of your family and glory of God. This is what God expects of all of us who are married in the Church. He commands it. Jesus expects us to take care of those of the household of the Faith before we venture on to help anyone else. So we must take care of our own obligations first!! May God bless you. Please realize your desires , though they may seem virtuous can even be a distraction to keep you from doing what you’re supposed to do. Keep focused on fixing your family. Then go to God and ask Him what He wants of you.

[16]For what knowest thou, O wife, whether thou shalt save thy husband? or how knowest thou, O man, whether thou shalt save thy wife? Did anyone else who went to Catholic high school in the 80’s have a Religion teacher who taught them the natural disaster lies? My Sophomore Religion teacher (Christian Morality class) who was a former nun, told us that God does not send natural disasters as punishment for our sins. She said that was an outdated belief of the Church. It was also in our books and was on a test. We were so brainwashed. I believed this for a long time. Then Katrina happened and I started questioning what I’d been taught in high school. So thankful I left the NO and joined the TLM

The religious teacher at my convent school when I was 12-13 told us the Old Testament was "a story", it wasn't real and that there wasn't a "God". At least that's what I understood from what she said. I was so upset I went home in tears and couldn't get over it. My dad went down to the school and made a complaint and had it out with her. She said she was trying to get us to think philosophically about our religion and not just swallow whole what we were told. Perhaps there was something to this but 12 and 13 year olds are not prepared or ready for this approach. Anyway, she toned down her teaching after that. Even now, at 62, I still remember and get upset over it. I don't think much of "religious education" at all. In the 14 years of Catholic school, we didn't even get taught how to say the rosary. And I never learned one useful thing from any homily I've ever heard at my local parishes. I've learned more about my religion from Catholic KZbinrs in the past few years and listening to great pastors like Father Ripperger. I've so much catching up to do.
@kcc8798 ай бұрын
I was born in the 80's but during school in the 90's - the same thing. It has taken me a long time through prayer to get over this. Now when I see a disaster, based on what Fr Ripperger has been teaching, I now wonder, what was REALLY going on in that place? In Australia a country town had the worst flood on record and no help from the gov or insurance. While I pray for those people there and many that went in to help, I really wonder what was happening in that town because that's the reason it was flooded.
@faithful4518 ай бұрын
Exactly - me too. I was brainwashed and had no idea about reality. I thought things like punishment due to natural disaster were old testament only. Only after by the grace of God I started improving my life, praying a lot more, working actively to sin less and improve my habits and get rid of bad habits and impure behaviours, and go to confession more and spend time in adoration, did I begin to suddenly understand things. I remove a lot of sin from my life and suddenly understanding after understanding has been coming upon me - feels like the Holy Spirit.
@faithful4518 ай бұрын
@@ellem6050 Same here. Lots of catching up to do. My parents (bless them) did their best I think but they were also products of the deteriorated corruption that sadly overtook the world and didn't have much of a foundation, as well as not seeing the need for giving us much foundation. So now in my 30s and having to teach my own kids, I'm discovering our beautiful faith for what almost seems like the first time. I learned to pray the rosary, I learned about and taught my kids many of the great prayers like the St Michael prayer, St Joseph prayer, the Memorare, the Salve Regina, etc etc. Started learning about the lives of the saints and the church fathers, which were somehow obscured. One of the biggest lies and deceptions people fall for and which I believe my dear father also fell for, as he used to argue this way when I started having discussions as a teenager, was that 'we don't need to listen to the teachings of past, because it's a modern world now, things change, customs change." Especially in reference to modesty of dress, fasting and abstinence, etc etc. Everyone has been touched by modernism to some degree - it's truly the most subtle and damaging of heresies.

I moved to another state trying to escape the company. I keep retreating into my catholic prayers because the devil hates to hear me praying them.

Oh Fr., you are so on point with the fact we are so blest staying faithful! It's not easy but you have taught so much over the years I've been listening to your teaching, that following the things you said about reading about the Saints and stay focused on God and pray makes it so very much easier! We are so blest from your teachings! Thank you Fr Ripperger! May our Lord keep close watch on you for your Salvation

I had to beg a priest to come anoint a dying parish member I was caring for. He actually said can’t it wait till tomorrow? All I could say was as a nurse death looks imminent.

Many thanks, Father Chad. I only wish that we heard material of this kind in many more churches but all we hear is silence on these topics which will impinge on our outcome in Eternity! Let us pray earnestly for our priests like never before. Oremus!

That's right, anybody who makes it into heaven these days is definitely hard core because the number of attacks of the enemy today is bigger and more complex than years ago. Amazing.
