I had a stroke in June 2016, on the day my youngest daughter graduated from college. The Lord, gave me a message in the hospital. I asked him that I could at least retain my speech so I could talk to my children (esp. about the Lord) and he said yes, and told me I could rest, and I would live.And yes he saved my speech, and today, most people cannot tell I ever had a stroke, praise God! I thank you Lord Jesus for this.

Father William Casey is a powerful witness for the love and grace of Almighty God, the kingship and saving power of Jesus Christ, and the truth of the Gospel and the Word of God! More than that, he is someone who the rest of us Christians, Catholic or otherwise, should take their cue from, and can learn from (just like Jesus Christ Himself, he is constructive and compassionate in his approach and manner, but he is also no pabulum puker)!!

foxx441. I have thought and spoken to boys and girls at Catechism, of Confirmation age ( At my Church) for a few years, in the Same Way as Father Casey. God has given me many gifts, talents and miracles. Recently the Pastor of the Church, together with the coordinator of Catechism, Stopped me because, " OF the Way", I speak And because some time I would Tear up from the testimony I would give. It seems that the priests prefer telling something that gets a Laugh from people, some times. "Yes", We are a Sick nation in a Sick World. Satan is having a Field Day

Yes, he loves you more than you can know. Sometimes it is hard to know and harder to feel at times. Remember love is not a feeling. God the Father loved the Son even when He cried out "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?." Unite all your suffering with His and you will grow closer to Him. Friar Roderic

@@franciscanfriars I have tried that; literally for decades but it hasn't seemed to have done any good. I've pretty much stopped going to Mass, and haven't received Communion in years. I see no point. I have zero reason to believe that God cares and all the reason in the world to believe that he doesn't. I've pretty much resigned myself to the fact that I'm going to Hell because if my life on this Earth is any indication that God "loves" me then I figure that's where I'm going. When somebody can prove to my satisfaction that God really does care then maybe I will rethink it. But until then, I have no reason to believe anything different.

Faith is beyond reason. It is not contrary to it, but it does go beyond it. Trusting God when you are experiencing darkness is a great act of love and faith. This is all that God asks and he will reward you in eternity and perhaps in this life as well. Carry on brave soldier. You are in our prayers.
