Yeah I don't know what kind of crack the devs were on when they made this. Initially thought the first chapter was the whole puzzle. It legit feels like they didn't want you to progress pass this portion of the game, without cheating. Thanks for sharing the solution 👍🏾

Noice, I whizzed through the first trials while collecting all the orbs (thinking I’m so high’ n mighty) but when I got to the last trials, I reviewed it top-down view once , then I thought; sigh, I can’t be bothered with it, esoecially thinking how limited my gaming time is. No, it isn't. It really isn't. There wasn't an evil dragon that ruled over the world in NNK 1, Oliver didn't come from a little village, he didn't get his wand from the people of his village, Drippy wasn't drawn by the call of the wand, etc. In NNK 1's postgame, we learned that there are countless worlds. We even visited a second Motorville in which Oliver wasn't born. NNK 2's world is certainly a different version of Ni no Kuni. The worlds are far too different to be one and the same. (no spoilers to NNK 2, please)

It's mostly just references Like Motorville being a small town, Pea gifting him the wand, Ollie and gang needing to overcome Shadars challenges and break his defenses in order to reach him, once and for all. The dragon being a metaphor for Shadar's magic tainting the world. In the end, I just believe the stories and elements are closer than you'd think.

This is Motorville from the outside: ghibli.fandom.com/de/wiki/Motorville?file=Welcome_to_Hotroid.png . Does this really look like a small town to you, let alone a small village? Shadar was neither a dragon nor anything like that, and he didn't rule the world. There were no towers that needed to be destroyed in order to defeat him. Marcassin wasn't Oliver's mentor. In addition, what about the White Witch? What about the Manna? What about the zombies? What about the fact that it isn't mentioned that the young boy came from another world? Sorry but your rationalizations are just laughable.
