@JandeVJonathan4 жыл бұрын
@@Redfoot138 it is a small case for a mid tower (short). it made the building process a little bit frustrating at times. Especially with the power supply, if you also want to use the HDD bracket. For building comfort I would maybe go for the larger Meshify S. But the final build looks amazing in the Meshify C. It fills up the space nicely. We went for a black build with the Dark Tempered glass, with only a few lighting accents in red. Beautiful.

I own this case and actually prefer it far over every other case I owned before to be honest and have absolutely no cons about it. I don’t use any rgb led components but will be buying several of their red LED fans to set off my build which will set it off quite nicely. The fact that it had so many filtration options is why I had bought it and the glass panels set it off nicely. I think it’s a solid built case and looks and functions much better than my prior coolermaster case. It keeps the interior quite clean, it’s quiet and fits on my desk nicely without compromising any space for components. I would DEFINITELY recommend that someone buy this case for a build be it on a budget or for high end builds. It’s an amazingly solid and well designed case. If you want to add liquid cooling, fractal also offers 240mm radiators along with LED 120mm and 140mm fans that can either be used individually for straight air cooling or to be added to the radiator to still help show off your internal components. Of course, you can only use the 120mm fans on the radiator as it is 240mm long. It’s a closed loop cooling solution but seems to have a lot of good feedback. For now though, I will be focusing on upgrading my processor in order to be able to better run software. The fans a bit later and the radiator will be my last purchase of course.

This is a wonderfull case! Straight airflow, compact size, glass panel, good cable management and OK SSD mounting. SSD's needs to be medium hot anyway for best life-span. Icarus975 I would go for a Ryzen 1700, still cheaper than the 7700k but great performance

p400 has stupid cpu cooler height limit if you want a big air cooler. nothing taller than 160mm fits, so the really good ones like NH-D15, Cryorig R1 or bequiet! dark rock pro won't fit. the fractal will fit most of these, so i'd say get the fractal. better cooling anyways cause of the mesh front, the p400 has the same intake concept as the nzxt s340 and it really limits what you can do with it. i personally use a thermaltake core x31 which also has a mostly mesh front, and temps dropped about 6-7 degrees with the same fan setup compared to the s340, while running quieter

I have two of these in my house. And I have two things to add, one of them is a correction. -The front grate can be removed without removing the plastic frame, that is the correction.- (you got corrected already) And the second thing, the HDD carriage assembly can be easily removed, by removing the odd looking metal plate on the inside of the case.

Got the White version with the low tint glass. Gotta say, its a sexy looking case. The angled grommets do a great job at hiding cables to give a sleek look and thermals are no problem. Only thing I would mention is that its smaller than you may expect. My radiator barely clears the ram when its on top, and it barely cleared my graphics card when on the front. Also the front fans are slightly offset from the center, so if having perfectly centered LED fans shining through the front is important to you, you can't change that.

Love the dark tint. It reveals just enough. It's especially nice when you just have a lit up GPU logo shining through, if you have a powerhouse tier card. It's like a little V8 badge on a family saloon car with a huge engine. It looks understated and "normal", but it has a hint of a beast that lives inside :) Overall, it won't appeal to people who love to show off their system. But it's a very classy looking case if you like to keep your desk clean and efficient. People who say tint completely nullifies the point of a glass didn't see this case live. It allows just enough of your system to be visible, without all the unnecessary details. You can pack it with RGB if you want, and you will be able to see it perfectly fine.

I was starting to think that the prerequisite for getting a job as a designer at Fractal was "Can you draw a square?". Glad to see them mix it up a bit on that front panel.

Thus case is overall pretty great. I think airflow is pretty good in it. My only complaint would be that it's not big enough for a custom water loop. The size is just Read more

You can fit custom loops in this case easily enough. People have gotten custom loops to fit in the Mini C. Yes it's a bit of a tight fit compared to something slightly bigger like the S340 Elite but it can be done and it can look really good.

Where's the love for mATX? :'( Not just talking about this case (I know there's the Define Mini C which would be similar to this but in a mATX formfactor), but also about other case manufacturers and motherboard manufacturers. I'd change to Ryzen if it weren't for lack of mATX motherboards with good features and good looks. I get that the manufacturers won't risk making a product for a market that is lacking customers, but maybe it lacks customers because of the lack of products.

Perfect way of a review. Personally have a Define R6, and was looking for a case for my brother's PC which needs to be a little smaller. This case seems perfect.

That front is the reason I’m looking at this case. The geometric wall patterns you can get with this case would be something really different.

Hey Paul, great video! I've been watching for a while, the build log videos are by far my favorite. Keep up the good work!

Just ordered the Define C TG ATX Mid Tower case. So pumped to move my build over to it.

If it was a refresh on the define C, sound dampening on side panel and top, it would be a no question buy. Love that front and it would eliminate any nagging concerns for air flow for front mounted rads.

I'm loving the case. Got it today for a new build. Much smaller than previous cases I had. That being said connecting cables was a pain but overall loving it
