They KNEW what they were doing. They just KNEW everyone would become a puddle of tears from the surprise of hearing this again. This scene is beautiful, so beautiful that even Pa had to say something kind of nice for once. Actually, this whole special is beautiful. Never have I ever thought I'd have such an urge to hug the World's Oldest Fraggle.
