I have been looking for this jazz rendition of Fragile for almost 24 years. My high school counselor, who passed away from cancer, would play it in her office in some of my darkest times.

Ms. Yanagihara's beautiful cover of Sting's Fragile gives inspiration to Mr. Miyano's inventive Bass work and I love Mr Kuge's fills. This particular trio is absolutely perfect. Wish I lived next door.

No matter how many times we play together, Yuka and Yuu never stops surprising and entertaining the audience! Appreciate the compliment!
oh, my ! Beautifully performed. Sting would be proud, Ms. Yuka. Music is your 'bliss'. Berklee prepared you well. (My former percussion 'set' teacher, Gary Chaffee, led the percussion department there for 5 years, which followed his first teaching 'gig' in Illinois, where I studied.) Takashi - I'm studying your 'fills', accents, colors, phrases. You hold these various groups together so well, sir. Your productions are professional. Everyone knows the tunes !! And, Yuu - your melodic bass lines are always rhythmically bold, yet controlled, and with outstanding 'time'. All of you - 'time' and 'interpretations' are always precise and with deep heart ! My compliments from the heartland of America - Fairfield, Iowa, a small town, but, home to 2,000 TM meditators. You guys bring me great joy! I sent word to Karen Aoki, a brilliant flautist that is here on faculty at MIU - Maharishi International University. She's originally from Tokyo, and plays flawlessly. SO many great musicians in/from Japan. I'm in awe. Perhaps if fortune smiles, I'll visit Osaka . . . someday. My heart somehow smiles, too, at how our two countries have overcome the past; a valuable lesson for all man/womankind.

Appreciate the wonderful and detailed compliment! We are blessed to have all the wonderful, talented musicians perform for us and being able to share our music through KZbin. Glad to hear you enjoyed our performance and wishing you a happy new year from Osaka, Japan!
I played trumpet in the Seattle Symphony for many years, and heard many of the world's greatest pianists in that time. To me, Yuka Yanagihara is in that class. What an elegant and accomplished player! Because my brother was a jazz player and enthusiaist, I grew up listening to McCoy Tyner, Chick Corea, Bill Evans, etc - and other jazz instrumentalists - so in retirement, I listen mainly to jazz pianists. Makoto Ozone I've be listening to since the 80's on LP. I hope Yuka continues to post her great performance.

@@OsakaJazzChannel And greetings to you! Another great player I like (in addition to many others) is Saori Kobayashi.
The sound is crystal clear; the most divine music; while the story is told in a spectacular technique with the melody of the notes [`Salutes!]
