Update: I've played for 3 hours now, my opinion on the game is better. I've gotten better as a player and started winning games, going positive KD etc which helps make a more enjoyable experience. Learning the cards has helped, and playing a few TDM games to get to grips with all the weapons is something I would highly suggest. I hated that in the Resident Evil Remakes. I can't imagine it for an actual online FPS

That doesn't really matter, gamers are harsh these days and if this game released like this, it'd slowly die, gamers don't care if it's free, they don't care if the studio took years to make it, they don't care if it costed tons of money, etc. They only care about the end product

Dude it being free doesn’t give it an excuse to be dogshit 😂 why do you people not understand that? If they want a community or an actual player base they have to release a game that doesn’t suck shit from the start. They don’t get the same comeback 10 times like triple a studios do so either release it when it’s ready and finished and balanced or fucking keep it. No wonder every game now is a dogshit free to play micro transaction hell because idiots like you keep defending this hog shit

As an ex Semi Valorant and Apex university level pro who had to quit Mnk games due to a torn shoulder and not holding a mouse it looks like a lot of fun! I hope it is man really need a good game to sink my teeth in which is controller friendly and skill based

I have been loving this game, Its the perfect medium for me between call of duty, overwatch, and valorant. I will say the movement speed can definitely be bumped up more, not to the point where it feels like another Apex legends or Titanfall type game, but just enough where you are not at a complete disadvantage against something like a one shot sniper. There are 2 characters that are a big problem i believe, the rocket launcher should just not exist as well as the girl that goes invisible, other than that i love the arcade like nature this game has, its a big refresher in the massive market of shooters out there and I'm having fun. And as for the matchmaking, im pretty sure it doesn't have skill based match making which makes sense, that stuff should be kept to the Ranked game modes as that is where matchmaking based on skill makes sense. And as for the cards system I think its an awesome mechanic that allows for variety in gameplay so as to not have the game be a repetitive slog. Understandably these kinds of mechanics can and are confusing to someone who just wants to jump into a game and not have to think about anything but shooting and basic game knowledge.

i'm enjoying a los The finals, that game is something different in visual, gameplay and innovation among others shooters in the market. Heroshooters are fine but those are too much similar.

I think those that enjoy tactical hero shooters like OW2 will feel right at home for a while. Not for me at all after some hours, but I can somewhat see the appeal.

I played about 2 matches and I thought I was going to be bad, but I got a kd of 5. Overall I enjoyed playing the game, and I think the devs did a good job making the game, but the only thing that I didn't like was that it took over 5 minutes to find a match and while you were waiting you could play scrimmage but there were WAY too many sweats in that so it took the fun out of that

The characters gain like 10% speed when sprinting 💀 it's a light jog at best LOL

I agree. The different abilities and unique cards are cool but itd be hard to balance to make competitive and i just really don't like the style.

Nothing like Valorant at all. Maybe a little on the defensive side and sometimes you walk slow around corners.

@@letschatMwithJ What makes me think it feels like Valorant is that it's slow walking speed, I feel like it's the kind of game that needs moving speed a little tad faster.

@@nikokyran2332 I can agree a little. There are a LOT of rounds where you can just go full blazing. Watch shroud and you can see how you can also play it quicker. It depends on the cards each round as well. That’s what makes it so fun is each round is never the same

Quite surprised that your review was negative. I think you're just not the right target audience for this game if you're coming from Halo. As someone who came from Rainbow Six Siege and Valorant, this games been great. The camping and holding angles / sniping are all part of slow paced tactical shooters. Only thing I do agree on is the card system being a little confusing also I don't like how the economy is managed in this game as CS and Valorant have money while this game has a weird 1 time feature. Btw the main reason why Valorant has a more female audience is because the community is friendlier compared to other communities, yes there's still some level of toxicity but it's way less compared to other games. From what I heard this is why girls tend to vc more in Valorant because the likelihood of them being harassed is lower. Wanted to point this out because I think this is a bigger reason than the personality one and I wish more communities can be like Valorant's

I can see the potential for game, but I think there's a lot of balancing issues currently, snipers are 1 shot kills which is insane to me, I used one myself and started climbing the scoreboard immediately. Even though it was fun, it's still imbalanced and needs tweaking. Rockets also need some balancing, and the headshots seem very overpowered too, I keep getting killed by someone who shoots me in the head once with a marksman rifle, that just feels off to me in a sci-fi video game. The game also advertised itself as fast-paced, which it's anything but. I feel like I'm moving in slow motion when playing. All of these things can be fixed, and if they are then my review would be much more positive, luckily this is a playtest and they have time to make changes

there's counter strike, valorant and maybe spectre divide which will probably die soon. how is that oversaturation? spectre divide and now this game just created gimmicks which make the game more interesting but maybe not better. But still the industry is not oversaturated.

The Finals is awesome and a breath of fresh air in terms of FPS games. Love the crazy destruction and unique game mode. Use Light class if you want to be fast and have more movement.

Comments seem very split here, just like the reviews. I think this game is targeted at a specific audience and anyone else simply doesn't like it

Good luck going against valorant lol. I know some people (especially girls) who have never heard of the game 'counter strike' who play Valorant. Its that popular now.

So many games hopped onto the hero shooter trend after seeing valorant capture a female audience, they're all the same and I think they're slow and boring
