The clones in the UAE are even cheaper because they aren't shipped overseas. Khamrah is something like $15 in the origin country. I can understand a Guerlain Ideal clone that costs $19.

Sometimes it's the availability issues also, alot of fragrances nich or designer aren't available in some countries in the middle east so clone companies double on that

I’ll give you an example on why these clones are life saving for some people In a certain country (where I live in) the average income is around 162 dollars per month. Now if I went and bought a fragrance for 100 dollars, more than 50% of my salary just went down.

La Homme is kinda funny for a name. In the French language, "La" is typically used when referring to a feminine noun. That's why the OG is called, "Le Mâle", because, "Le" denotes masculine. The grammatically correct way to name it would be, "L'Homme" but Yves St Laurent already won that race. I guess they were desperate and hoped nobody knew French or something 😂

I’ve been thinking same thing. It’s just a completely nonsensical thing to name this fragrance. Essencia Homme would’ve made more sense. In the US no one’s gonna care, but I wonder what all the Europeans think… it literally makes zero sense of you speak any other Romance language.

@ejude83 I mean... Not everybody knows French. But I'm Canadian. It's a second language here. And there's also the entire country of France. Not to mention various countries colonized by France where the language remains alive. It's weird to think that they went ahead without knowing this, but it's also weird to think that they knew it and did it anyway. I guess French folks can check this out and get their own version of Engrish 😂

Fragrance World already has out a JPG LMLP clone in the exact same bottle as the clone shown here… it’s called JOHN GUSTAVE HOMME ‘LE PARFUM’. Been around almost as long as the O.G. Cheap as chips too. As another commenter has said the FWJG clone and the one featured in the video are in no way near the quality of the real JPG. FW clones are second rate I think in comparison to Maison Alhambra etc, though they usually are cheaper. I’d say as I own both that the clones are about 90% close to the JPG original. Longevity is another big issue with FW clones and that in the case of the LMLP clones as they macerate they get weaker and further from what they are cloning.

Le Male Le Parfum is in my top 3 out of my entire 100+ bottle collection right now. I'll just stick to the real thing. There's no way this smells of the same quality of JPG.
