@@hayley.clough so far I’ve only worn it once, but the performance was nuclear. I’m not sure about the sillage, but it lasted on my skin all day and it’s still on my clothes days later. I was in 90°+ weather so we’ll see how far it projects when the temps drop. Really wish they would have sold it in a larger format

I really couldn't find a good place to get Alexandre decants, wanting both Enigma and Peacock. Finally just ordered samples of a bunch direct from the brand site, even thought $25 in shipping for my wee samples hurt... still less pricey than a failed blind buy! I cannot wait for them to arrive.

Latest new obsession for me is Bois Imperial by Essentials Parfume, if you like green woody lil bit of spice scents, this is beautiful. Its a very affordable niche. If you sniff it just after spraying it can come off quite strong and pungent but boy does it settle and leave a beautifil trail. Also loving Kind Intentions

Yay, so glad to see you love Gossip Night because I've been eyeing that one myself! Did you ever get on with Miu Miu Fleur de Lait? I recall your first impression was ambivalent and I don't think I've heard you mention it anymore. I've been looking for just the type of fragrance you describe Gossip Night as being so I'm very excited to get a sample of it when I can. I would love a Gritti house overview and a series where you discuss fragrances that might work out for people who typically have difficulties with certain notes such as white florals, yellow florals, oud, spices, etc.

I tried Chantilly from Gritti and it smells like cheap car freshener to me lol. It made me avoid Gritti. Gritti dna is similar to Tiziana IMO. I am gonna give the house another chance and try Tutu Blanc. Gossip Night is def no for me as I am sensitive to patchouli.

Beyond the wall is one that I sampled from Gritti that I love too. Tutu was a bit sharp for me but I haven’t tried Tutu Blanc. Siracusa is worth checking out too. I have more samples in route. I didn’t buy Fleur de Lait, I didn’t love it enough x

I really like Gossip night but I don’t think you describe it right as vanilla/peach dougnut. I think it has a deapt to it. Something dark, like patschouli or akighala wood. Compared to like Cassili this is much more night time and maybe not so for everyone. So I think that is important to inform people of. I think people can get dissapointed if they think it is a common, ”people pleasing” perfume like Cassili or something like that.

I wouldn’t say I didn’t describe it right, you have to consider we all perceive fragrances differently. Just like your description above, I don’t feel that from it but that doesn’t mean you are wrong. I hope that comes across with good intentions, I mean that in the nicest way. I don’t get the depth from it personally, I very much get peach / fruity vanilla which feels very airy. I would always always recommend someone samples before they buy, I added a decant link for it in the description box. Thank you 🙏🏼

Of course, you are right. I have the bottle but got pretty stunned when it wasn’t really that fluffy to me. But I like it any way. I think it is pretty polarizing from what I have read. Thank you for a great channel anyhow. 🥰

So interesting, I find it so airy but now I am going to make it my scent of the day to test again. I think a lot of people pick up the patchouli that I believe is in the composition, I luckily like that note but for some they could find polarising. Have a wonderful day ☺️
