Awesome job. This had to have been a crazy expensive build. New oem parts cost a small fortune. Sure be nice to have a lathe at home.

I own a used motorcycle dealership and sell over 800 bikes per year. We have a busy facebook page and social media platform and this restoration compilation is going on it as a marker of excellence in the field of mechanical engineering!

21 episodes in and that was my favourite. Excited to see this one up and running, I'm at a similar stage with my RMX restoration and I wish I had the patience and drive to do everything as perfect as this.

This has been an epic build and after finding it late, I've been binge watching every evening after work to play catchup. Your work is outstanding and your OCD (which isn't a bad thing) is obvious. Congrats on a great series and a great looking bike. I'm already looking forward to what you have planned next. Greetings from South Africa, keep it coming.

I don't care what any one else says, you did GREAT getting the authentic Renthal cloth bar pad. I absolutely hate this new plastic garbage world we live in and it makes the build go UP a notch in level of detail by adding this. Excellent, now where can I buy this bike? :P

Thank you for another great episode/video. What did you use to make the chain rollers? Delron? And nice touch with the new bar-pad. I was just curios, what else is in your garage? Do you have the bikes all of the radiator decals on your wall came from?
@G9Garage
@G9Garage 6 жыл бұрын
Yeah the chain rollers are made from Delrin. Plenty of other toys in the garage :)

they head bearings must be cursed, when me and my dad were rebuilding my 1990 RM250 we were tapping in the head bearings with a hammer, the head of the hammer came flying off and chipped out freshly powder coated frame :( absolutely soul destroying when shit like that happens.
