@darknessredefine You can't compare the two games to be honest. One's a 2D fighter and the other's 3D. Makes for gameplay and mechanics to different to draw a comparison.

@ABoffman every single tekken character on average has 10x more moves than any given MK9 character; sidesteppings; deeper grab-breaking; etc. tekken is far deeper than any 2d fighter to date

@pplayer666 Number of moves doesn't equal depth. Tekken isn't a deep game from a competitive stand point. You want a deep 3d fighter try Virtual Fighter, it's the deepest one. That aside SF games are pretty much the pinnacle of competitive fighting games.

@darknessredefine "tekken owns this game" - not to mention the actual player base which tekken completely lacks, it is rather different than "better". tekken's gameplay may be deeper due to it being 3d with a more extensive move lists, but deeper doesn't always mean better

Wow! 25 seconds into this video and I'm already amazed at how blatantly stupid everyone associated with this tournament is. The reason why "the screen shakes for no apparent reason" is because the structures in the background are crumbling down. Anyone who looses on this stage loss because their opponent was better than them, not because the screen shook a little a few times for 1 whole second.
