It worked! Our bathroom sliding glass door made awful streaking noise each time we close it. Following your instruction, I re-adjusted the Allen Key holes and put some lubricant to the rail. No more streaking noise! Thank you so much. Subscribed and gave a thumb up!

it did work!! I had my husband watch your video. I can't remember what brand of door we have, but the little holes you have on the front of the rollers at 2:03 aren't present on our door, so it was really difficult to get the rollers to twist. but somehow my husband used an old tiny drill bit that he didn't mind destroying for leverage and put it in the holes that I think you're calling "Allen key holes". I still hate the door we chose. It is impossible to get the glass clean in the area where the doors come together which annoys me. In the next house im going to get a hinged door and that's that. Lol 😂. Thank you so much for this video!

After watching your video and being hopeful this would work I didn’t have much luck. Since these doors are a pain to clean the area where they overlap, and having no luck with the adjustments, I removed the sliding door, cleaned the track, the rollers and of course the doors. After installing the top rollers I hung it back on the track, installed the bottom rollers and voila, it worked. I should’ve taken a picture of the positions of the height adjustment/indicators on each roller but figured I was good to go and didn’t. Now three weeks later it is sticking again, and again my adjustments aren’t making a difference. The track bar is not perfectly level over the opening section but seems to be over the fixed panel. I don’t think this is the problem because it worked fine after the original installation and then again after this recent removal and re-install. This shower is in my home of one which puts the shower to use once a day at the most. I certainly don’t want to have to keep removing and re-installing this piece of glass but I’m kinda at a loss. Any advice or suggestions would be welcomed!

Sorry for the delayed response!! Have you also assessed the stationary panel clamps? Sometimes the gasket compresses and the bar bows down with the weight of the door. You can loosen the clamp, push the bar up (with a friend outside of the shower) and retighten. You'll most likely see another adjustment not included in the directions.

I live in Florida and bought a Serenity Barn door sliding Shower door from Florida Sate glass in Delray. The show door leaks an I literally have a puddle in my bathroom after every shower. I called Florida State glass and the installer told me that is normal. ARE YOU KIDDING ME. I’m in the process of which way to handle it but I saw this video on you tube and there phone number was posted so out of desperation I called to beg for some advice from a company in New Jersey even though I’m in Florida. The fellow I spoke to could not of been more helpful and guiding in me of some of my options. He was a saint and I’m sure his work is just as good as he is professional. I can not say enough but just some positive info for anybody in need of his services. I never got your name but thanks for the time and good info.

Super helpful! What if door height is maxed out (Allen key hole on upper roller is facing down toward the floor) and still drags along the bottom guide? Thanks!
@ExceptionalGlassLLC3 жыл бұрын
The bracket at the wall holding the bar may have sagged. There are "alligator" slots within the bracket that may have shifted. Open the door fully, Use an allen key to back out the set screws on top of the bracket, slide it towards the door and you'll see how adjustments can be made. Let me know if it works out! Thanks for watching!

How do you secure the bottom guide to the stationary glass door? There is a screw but there is no hole through the glass and it's not screwed into the tile?? Thanks
@ExceptionalGlassLLC9 ай бұрын
There's a set screw on the outside to attach the bottom guide to the panel. Silicone is added below the guide prior to installing. Thank you for your question

How much of a gap is standard between the wall and glass when sliding door is closed? I just had mine “repaired” by the installer for being too hard to close and now WITH a U shaped seal on glass edge, the glass meets the wall at top but 1/4” away at bottom. They said it shouldn’t meet there bc “it would cause too much pressure on glass.” This shower is for my 3 children and I worry about too much water getting out and damaging subfloor. Furthermore, I noticed that your glass did not have a U seal. Didn’t even realize that was possible.
@ExceptionalGlassLLC3 ай бұрын
It depends on your installers methods. I'd recommend using it and see of there's an abundance of water seepage. If so, I'm sure your glass company would be happy to add a "dam" on the curb to stop the leak.

Hi! I have a quick question… my doors are very similar to these, and they’re only about a year and a half old, but lately the door has been sliding back by itself… any idea how I can fix this issue?
@AJCoReVlogs Жыл бұрын
Figure it out? My sliding door keeps closing on its own, won’t stay open.
@lilianacedeno905 Жыл бұрын
@@AJCoReVlogs Hi! I did figure it out. Turns out that it’s the same as this video… you just mess around with the screws at the top. It took me a bit to figure it out but eventually I did. Think of it like a ball on a hill… if the left one is too high then it might be sliding to the right, or the right one might be too low… or the bottom supports might be a bit loose… sad part is that it can complicate itself, but it isn’t impossible since in the end I mostly got the door right. I’d just try tightening then at first. If not, wish for a bit of luck so you don’t have to spend all day trying to fix it 😵💫

@ExceptionalGlassLLC3 жыл бұрын
Ok.. This is a very common question. Installing a "dam" would be the best option. Note: If your showerhead or "Hands-free" point directly at the door.. It would only help, not fix.

Sorry for the delayed response!! First check the stationary panels clamps. The gasket DO compress therfore sag. Have a friend be outside of the shower while you loosen the clamp, have them push up while it's loose then retighten.

Sorry for the delayed response!! Most likely the stationary panels clamps are loose because the gaskets compress. Have a friend come over and help. Loosen the clamp and have a friend push the bar up, then you tighten the clamp. I hope this helps.

Good morning Floyd. 90% of the time, it's a 3mm allen key. Yes, The rollers have an adjustment setting within. Give it a shot (with some help) and i'd definitely put a block of some sort under the door PRIOR to making any adjustment as it may max all the way down.

Wow I have a door that looks just like this one and stops short of closing about 2 inches away from the wall. I was originally thinking I needed to get a new shower door and have been silently cursing purchasing this one for $600 something 5 years ago 😂😂 I'm going to see if my husband can try this. If that doesn't work then we'll replace it. I'm so over this bathroom. It's cursed. First had a shower leak. Then fixed that and the damn door hasn't closed ever since.
