No, unfortunately it does not at this time

Hi great platform and video-- Does Framer apply commercial applications? Metal framing, block, tiltups, etc?

Nice plugin. Shame it has a yearly subscription instead of a once off cost, as it makes it way too expensive compared to other plugins such as Profile Builder or Housebuilder.

Does Framer work independently of Estimator or do you need to have both for Framer to work?
@EstimatorforSketchUp5 жыл бұрын
Yes, it is independent. You do not need Estimator for Framer to work. I created Framer to work with Estimator for quantity takeoffs

Does this extension build roof systems?
@johnbrock74704 жыл бұрын
Not very well at this point, but working on it! Honestly, I use a lot of roof trusses and get the files from my vendors. Let them do the heavy lifting :) the rest I model myself since parametric systems are hard to get perfect...

What is the file size something like this produces when you have drawn a full 6000-8000 SF house? How much ram do you run on your machine?
@yootoob70486 жыл бұрын
The file size question is difficult to answer, there are too many variables you did not include in your question to consider. Is your concern computer performance or storage related? As for RAM, 8gb is adequate, 12-16gb is more than enough. Remember to use a video card with at lease 4GB of Video RAM. SSDs are also great for performance when modeling.

Sorry I missed this comment! I routinely model houses of that size using Framer - I build detailed models of the complete structure - structural models rarely go over 100 MB but if I add finishes they can get over 200mb but never bothers me (or PC). Hope this helps - feel free to email me directly at john@estimatorforsketchup.com with any questions
