Yesterday for the first time I came across THE BUS Life here on KZbin. After looking hours after hours your bus projects it's every time so amazing to see the quality and joy of how you''re making your videos, your family as one, kids doing each their own stuff alone plus together and enjoying and last but not the least; You 2 as parents.

What do y’all plan to do with the good news bus when you finish the new bus? The reason I ask is this: My wife and I are thinking about a full time ministry to rv camps by providing weekly church services in exchange for space rentals.

I think that, though it is entertainment for us as well as instruction for those who want to learn, you are a real family and have a real life to live. You can't just cross your arms and nod your head, and magic happens (like the genie). That is why I find everything so fascinating. You are doing something most of us would not be able to do or even willing to do!! Have a wonderful 2018!!

In just the time ive been following the build i am a.azed how much ya'll have done in the time frame. I guess this one isnt your first one and you did a good job of planning before hand. Its looking great! When i seen the date i was even more amazed as im about 45 minutes north of new orleans, just over the line in mississippi, yesterday i woke up to 15° with chill of 4°. Man it was cold, ice evefywhere. Your in a tee shirt. Were only about 11-12 hours away. Crazy weather! Ya'll have fun, im gonna stay inside couple more days, LOL.......

I used a product when I did an interior of a Chevy van. Screw caps, put the screw through the base and snap a cap over the screw head. they come in colors if needed. check on line, not many conversion shops these days.

Hey, run your furring strips horizontally! You don't want those metal ribs in contact or proximity to your interior paneling and makes a better space for your insulation. Also, rip some plywood into strips, instead of milled wood. The millwork splits and cracks when you drive nails and screws into it. Plywood resists splits and has more dimensional stability. All the best, #broccolibus

I notice the holes for new wireing in the wood, make sure not to drill or nail through it when paneling. During my van conversion I hit wires with a screw inside the frame work. days of repair work.

I do understand the time it takes for editing videos! Be careful about removing wires, I have seen a number of bus conversions that have removed wires and then the bus would not start because the safety interlocks for the rear and side safety doors was removed. Glenn Lever

Shane make sure you wear a good chemical respirator and get lots of airflow when spraying foam, the guy Jim gadberry that did his bus he wound up getting severely ill from spraying the foam from the fumes... look up spray foam illness, is very real and very serious so be careful

I have a question are you going to put mini splits in your bus I've noticed a lot of people that's building buses conversions are putting mini splits in to help heat and cool their bus home?
@Wes1388
@Wes1388 6 жыл бұрын
running your wire through those holes you drill at the end is just another thing to worry about. you are taking the chance to nail through them or have a inaccessible place for failure.
@TheBusLifeShow
@TheBusLifeShow 6 жыл бұрын
They won’t get a nail through them. I know they are there and will be carful. The chances that a wire fails is really slim. I have never seen a solid strait wire fail.
@Wes1388
@Wes1388 6 жыл бұрын
Solid wire is better than stranded. I would suggest using some protection nailer or conduit. I've seen it happen more than once. Having to locate the break is an avoidable mistake. should of explained more, only trying to save you a headache.
