Absolutely brilliant!! I wish there was a way to see what the castle looked like in its day when the Howards lived there! I loved the Mary Queen of Scots stayed there as well. Being a direct descendant of John Howard, I found this absolutely fascinating!!!! I would love to visit here one day and pay my respects to my very very distant relations. Thank you for such a wonderful video and informative information!! 🥰💚🥰💚

Great video Sarah. The castle and location looks absolutely amazing and I can see why you have it such high Tudor roses :-). I can’t believe just how old it is!!! Thanks for sharing.

So enjoy your A-Z videos. This one’s really great, with excellent photographs. One suggestion. For those of us visiting and usually dependent on public transport, a brief word or two at the end about whether there are suitable train/bus connections or if site is best visited by car would be useful. No need for too many details, just a yea or nay would suffice. Right now, I’m looking at my maps to decide.

Good video. I just read that the dismantling of Thetford Abbey probably was the final straw that prompted Norfolk to bring about the downfall of Cromwell. I wonder if anyone can identify the large brick building seen from the castle wall walk? It looks like an important building, a mansion, school, etc.

I've heard of Framlingham Castle but I don't know anything about it. An interesting video!

Great time travel Sarah. Those Tudor chimneys are just stunning! So lucky they have survived all this time. Which book gives the intricate movement’s on Mary whilst in the castle in 1553? I’d love to read it, just to add another book to the collection.
