As someone that knows a thing or two about Fran Bow, I think you covered this game v well. Enjoyed the VZed breakdown of what might be one of the strongest point 'n click horror adventures with a very intriguing plot made in recent years.

Yeah, this game is a straight up treasure, but the state seems to be that everyone "knows about this game" and knows that it's messed up, but hasn't actually played it. I think there's a lot of depth here that is going unseen.

It's a shame about the core point and click gameplay, because otherwise, it looks pretty fuckin solid. I hate to discount an entire genre, but fuck dude, it made it's bed. Might put it on the old watch list anyway.

yeah, i get ch'ya. It's not the most accessible genre on the planet. It's a genre that tries to appeal to the emotional value crowd, but often lacks in the emotional value department. I think this game actually pulls it off, though.

I remember seeing someone play Fran Bow awhile ago when it first came out and I was instantly interested in it. I really need to pick it up sometime in the future. As always, great job on the review, man!
