The idea of scanning an extra likeness for one days work then own it for perpetuity by the studio's is shocking and sadly predictably hatefully greedy and vile
@paulg6527
@paulg6527 Жыл бұрын
A lot of actors who have gotten principal work still work as extras so they can meet the SAG insurance requirements in order to keep it. If you watch any show, guest actors only get paid about 5K an episode and book about 5 jobs a year if they are lucky. Many actors have day jobs to support themselves in order to live the dream.

What strikes me as really powerful here, is the eloquent presentation of this conflict's universality... there is total change of the system, but contracts for those who make the system are supposed to stay the same... so that multinational companies can feed their CEOs... I think it is a logical step to proudly say "No more!"

Maybe someday actually create diverse characters from scratch. Imagine having the ARTS back into entertainment......Hollywood and Disney CNN lost all credibility to anyone with common sense. Hollywood needs a hard reset.

The broadbanded and streaming bundled spectrum of human emotions are a collaborative of permutations in which AI will always be an insufficient calculator to anticipate their subjective metamorphic trajectories. These include inspirations and aspirations of the most exclusive and exquisite design that can only be shuttled from one human soul to another. Conditioning bias mechanism has no welcome nor role in the projected film of human life and livelihood. AI will always have a shelf life, an expiration, and a time to become obsolete or irrelevant. A human life cannot and was not put into existence with that intended purpose in legacy. To be machine is to heal life, not take or replace it. P.S.- Get em' Frannie! 😂🤣💋

True leadership has nothing to do with acting. It takes a special kind of person to lead others. Fran Drescher is a inspiration and a role model for the young people in this country. The young people need to follow this and start getting involved with life and take it seriously.

As is true for everything that performers do, they have to draw attention to themselves. Plenty of US workers endure nonsense a million times worse, and handle it themselves. Even when a real workers' union goes on strike, the news coverage is nothing compared to this.

Film overseas and use writers from overseas, that's what's going to happen. Hollywood is declining...not many people care.
@accordingtoangela
@accordingtoangela Жыл бұрын
This affects films overseas as well. This affects the future of labor in general. Yall gotta stop thinking this is just about actors. This is about everyone. These problems have been happening in factories 🏭 for years; Semi truck drivers and the future of driverless cars, gig workers, etc. sag aftra happens to be a workers union with recognizable faces so they have a higher chance of people being ready to listen. This is bigger than “Hollywood”. Think harder.
