Ewan McGregor and Mark Hamill should be in a movie together. They're the only two star wars stars who still like to talk about star wars.

I was Harrison Ford biggest fan but not anymore. When he was younger he was a very cool guy. Now he is rude, idiot and prepotent he thinks he is GOD . He thinks he deserves everything in his last interviews with Ellen and other shoes he looks boring and and the host show almost get some words of his mouth. He hates star wars. And his role in the movie. He should be thankful because he become famous and rich because of this

Mark Hamill truly appreciates the thing that the Star Wars franchise has given him. It is refreshing to see an actor at appreciates such an iconic role that has allowed him so much pain, even though I’m sure there are moments that he must’ve been overwhelmed as a young person. He truly embrace is that being Luke Skywalker has changed his life. Even today, people talk about how down to Earth he is when they meet him and how awesome it is when he shows up spontaneously at public events like Disney World to surprise fans. He is certainly a class act. Well done, Mr. Hamill!

I agree. Mark Hamill seems like a really good guy. I’m sure you know that his face was severely injured in a car accident, which forced Hamill to make a decision: be a great actor and enjoy acting, or quit. I was a teenager when Star Wars came out and every girl had a crush on Mark Hamill - but not after the accident. Notice how much Mark talks about fun and family. He has clearly decided to enjoy his life and have fun whatever he’s doing. I couldn’t believe that Hamill was so versatile as a voice actor! He obviously loves doing it.

TheTooginator Mark Hamill is extremely smart and he is a brilliant, yet underrated actor. Watch his Trilogy back to back and enjoy the development of Luke and how nuanced and brilliantly it was brought to life by Mark. Besides the fact that "real" Luke Skywalker is one of the best role models in film history.

I love that Stephen thinks to ask if Hamill wished he could have seen Star Wars in '77. That is such a thoughtful question. I imagine that if you're in something like that, you can never have the experience of watching the film like an ordinary young person. I remember going to the movies in May of 1977 with my sister at age 11 when the movie first came out (right before all the hype and popularity exploded), and it was sheer pleasure. The audience in the theater cheered and applauded when the end credits rolled. You didn't want it to end. Hamill is so appreciative of his involvement in Star Wars, and just a decent and funny person all around. A lot of celebs and actors are not like this. And how hilarious was "Whatever floats your boat". 😄

I hope this new trilogy leads to some new opportunities for him, as much as I love the joker (and he is as iconic as a voice actor can possibly be in that role) it's great to see him on screen again.

For all the love many of the original Star Wars cast gets, Mark Hamill is just about the ONLY one that actively loves and embraces being a part of it. So many of the others set out to prove they can be something else besides "so-and-so in Star Wars", to the point of being bitter about its existence. The fact that Mark is so grounded and grateful makes him the absolute best person attached to Star Wars, period.

Anthony Daniels is a rude, bitter dipshit. It's obviously he views the role of C-3PO in the same way a person views working at Wal-Mart... they do it because it makes them money, not because they ever want to do the job. Williams, from my limited interactions with him, can only tolerate it as long as he's sober. The drunker he gets, the more impatient and rude he becomes. So... if you ever meet him, hope it's in the late morning, after his hangover is gone but before he starts drinking after lunch.
