With a "coming out" party, I assume that CC meant it was her coming of age party. In Jane Austen's day, when a girl was "out", it meant that she was able to socialise, attend public events, balls, etc., albeit with a chaperone if she was unmarried. It was especially popular among the middle and higher classes. Since CC's family is super rich, she was probably allowed to mix with New York's super elite and rich when she "came" of age.
