Lighthouse was superb, so much to see in Normandy , from the beaches, to cider and calvados, enjoy

Yes Normandy was fabulous with much more for us to go back to later. The coastline is long and wild in places, with a scattering of beautiful spots along the way. Next stop is Brittany 😉😃👍🏻🚐 Trev

We are having a lot of fun. It’s nice to find the right pace and not chase around doing too much. We definitely enjoy sitting around the van in the evenings reflecting on the day and planning the next one. A glass or two of vino also helps 🤣 Take care, 💙🚐 Trev

The cemetery with so many tombstones of mostly young men who gave their life to save others is so humbling. The view from the lighthouse is breathtaking. It's so nice to see all of you having fun 😀❤️👍

It’s truly amazing to count the loss of so many. The lighthouse was such a buzz. Climbing the steps was a challenge but the view at the top was spectacular even though it wasn’t a particularly clear day 😃👍🏻 Trev

You did a similar tour to us back in 2016, the American cemetery is so emotional you've got to admire the bravery of those fallen soldiers who fought to give us our freedom and say they were just doing there job 😢

It’s certainly true that being at these historic sites makes it more real. I cannot start to imagine how brave the young lads were who landed on D-Day. So glad we did this tour 🙂🚐 Trev

We went to that site twenty or more years ago and what we noticed the beach was spotless, it felt like a cemetery and what I remember about the American cemetery was a large painting in the visitors centre. One souvenir I did bring back was a small amount of sand from each beach, cheap but priceless.

A lot of the beaches felt special to us because of the history behind them. Such peaceful places now. The cemeteries just confirmed the scale of the losses. So glad we went 🙂👍🏻 Trev

Lovely video. Very emotional seeing all the war graves and people looking for relatives. Rather you than me going up to the top of that lighthouse. Ohhh them sausages! Hungry again now. lol. That was quite freaky being up the top of that Lighthouse. Made us dizzy just watching it on the telly! Not too sure if I'd of liked that. Amazing that it was built that long ago. Hopefully they keep it maintained well since then. 🤣

Eww. I don't like radish. I'm not sure what Joe was insinuating, but think I'll just leave that whole comment alone LOL. Love that water view. SWEET lighthouse! Ugh steps. I hate stairs lol. Nice that you're getting an update of what number you're on as you climb them 😂That view from up top sure was worth the climb, though! Absolutely beautiful. Wow that is quite the cemetery. Sad that so many lost their lives. Cemeteries like that are always a bit overwhelming and can cause a lump in the throat. This reminds me of Arlington a bit. Goes on seemingly forever. Ok now I gotta end with the same word I started with. Laundry, eww!

Haha too many eww moments so sorry for that 🤣 We loved the view from the lighthouse but it wasn’t the clearest day to go up as it was quite cloudy over the water. 😃 Are you sure that you wouldn’t like a radish? LOL 😆 Trev 💙👍🏻
