Usually when I do this kind of game, I rush the empty rhineland with motorized and have them grind at the Rhine river to cripple their industry, although it won't probably give your general Adaptable.

So there are a few variations, we have the encircle one which focuses on pulling back to encircle the german army, famously used by dark bhuddist in his fight against the hochmeister AI. There also is the naval invasion one, infamously used by me, but the ai has a few moves to counter that and usually sees them (unless youre playing something like stöckfißh 3)

A fun challenge i like with democratic France is forming the EU, you have to let Germany concur the lowlands and not join the allies, only after that can you start pushing back, taking the lowlands, Germany and Italy. Also part of this challenge is not letting anyone else get enough warscore to screw you over

France‘s interwar FT tank stockpiles + their pure tank template work well for garrisons. FRA has so many reserve battalions you can easily pin GER‘s 24 battalions and stretch out their line. For actual tanks, FRA starts with Medium Howitzers already researched _(much like their Destroyers with 1940 Engine III)_

@@sejozwak its the easiest war possible in the start of the game, you just throw some divisions in the Maginot and push with your light tanks and motorized, the Rhine is demilitarized until the war starts so you pour divisions in and the Germans cant do shit, if you are trash enough to reach a stalemate, naval invade them, your army is over twice the size of theirs
