greendaytomd96 most under 25s didn't turn out to vote, but many poll show that young people lean more to the right than they do the left. People don't want to be nannied and socialised, that's why the left is losing so badly right now across the western world.

Of Course after a certain time of living and working in your adopted country then you can ask for demands. That is why a government exists, you pay taxes and you get to be choosy. Most of the welfare is actually spent on white natives, but yet no one talks about that. The country doesn't want me out, maybe the citizens have a plethora of views but they can't and will not make me leave, even after brexit, Trump and Le Pen, I will stay put. I live in a christian country and I respect that, I follow the law, and even celebrate their holidays, I never seen sharia law interpreted into british life, maybe some franchise restaurants opted for halal meat but that's them and it's very rare. Western and Islamic culture are cut from the same cloth, the both have roots in judeo-christian values and have a long lists of similarities and I really hate the fact that western countries look down on islamic countries. Western countries took a long time after world war two to adopt secular laws and these islamic countries are just coming into their own. Turkey is very liberal is technically both western and islamic naturally to name an example.

It's a shame that they continue to push the anti-immigration point so hard. If they pressed for the defence of the French culture and identity, the rejection of a federalised Europe, and restrictions on immigration they would fare well but when it tips into xenophobia then they turn as many off as they recruit to the cause.
