A step too far right? France's RN splits with AfD over SS comments • FRANCE 24 English

France's main far-right party said Tuesday it will no longer sit in the EU parliament with the Alternative for Germany (AfD) faction, indicating it had lost patience with the controversies surrounding its German allies. The head of the AfD's list in the polls, Maximilian Krah, had said in a weekend interview with Italian newspaper La Repubblica that someone who had been a member of the SS was "not automatically a criminal". Pierre Benazet reports from Brussels.

In fact he is right. The german Wehrmacht has tank troops. The uniform was green. The Waffen SS also has tank troops ... uniform was black. Is a SS tank driver more guilty than one of the Wehrmacht?

Of course. As there are certainly many innocents working in ISIS, Al Quaeda or the Guadalajara Cartel. Just one, teeeny, tiny bit of a problem there: The organisation itself was criminal, one of, if not the moypst reprehensible organization in German history. It also wasn't some "Oh, no! We didn't know about the bad stuf!" organisation. It did exactly what it said it would and that was not a secret. Yes, my friend, membership in the SS automatically makes someone guilty. Simple as. Just as "Oh no, i was just an innocent tank driver for ISIS!" is y ridiculous excuse that will not safe that person from facing the consequences of fighting for ISIS.
