@@user-kc5kv3ou2t Idi Amin served in the British army and also trained in the Isreal army. In fact they even helped him to take power thinking he would be their puppet but he made a complete U turn he became president. He became Britain's biggest enemy in Africa and they again led the fight to overthrow him. Therefore I think this one also can be different even though he trained in France.

I just wish him to have a very good intentions for his country that's all matter it doesn't matter if he is junta what matters is that let him be there for the interest of his own people Tomas sankara was a junta too but today his people are crying to have someone like him JJ Rowling was a junta kadafi was a junta..... So to me it doesn't really matter to be in power or to stay long in power as long as he continues to protect the interests of his people

As a Kenyan, even more so, an African and someone who has studied former french colonies and their ever evolving coups, i will continue to view Col Mamady as a puppet by Paris, and for Paris... But comparing him to Camara of 2008, he is a safer bet, just wishing a peaceful transitional govt for the people of Guinea, they deserve it, it holds great potential.

Wrong. Africa has a lot of educated people. The most unfortunate part of the educated lot is the type of education they acquired. Education must be African oriented but not the current Mzungu education which has made a Blackman all over the world to serve the Mzungu system through neocolonialism and master savior capitalistic setup. Afrikans must use Kiswahili as a language of instruction and incorporate their own history, culture and aspirations in the school curriculum. Teach black history and languages in their school system. The lies of Christopher Columbus discovery of the Americas when the American Indians were already living their must be corrected.

Military men protect and that is exactly what he is doing. A born leader and a strong man. ECOWAS, AU and MRU are toothless institutions that will sit and watch the bad governance grow on a higher level and reduce their people to beggers and self-imposed slaves in their own country These so-called institutions will not say a word, but as soon a strong liberator stands up then they are ready to arrange peace talks and suggesting mediators to reap allowances and other travelling benefits at the detriment of the distressed citizens. This general is giving them new lessons to learn from and if he succeeds, all other dictators should be warned and change their altitudes of bad governance because more liberators will start to follow. I wish you success Colonel Doumbouya.
