It was one of President-elect Donald Trump's main campaign promises: to bring back manufacturing jobs that American firms have outsourced abroad. Yet several major US companies, such as Reebok, have already started investing in production sites at home. Many had been producing in Asia - where workers' wages are lower - but have found new ways to cut costs, mainly thanks to new technology. This report takes a closer look.
A programme prepared by Patrick Lovett and Elom Marcel Toble.

You liberals just don't get it!! Years ago I automated a company, We didn't lose any employees. We just shifted people from production to Quality Control. If a company doesn't have a robust Quality Control. Any company that doesn't have a Quality Control department is living in the dark ages. We hired more people, doubled our work space, shifted people to QA, Improved our product control all within 6 months!!!. With automation, one person did the work of 6. Oh yes,,,,Our President won again!!

A guy from London is talking about the U.S.. the U.S. is a bigger country than England and our unemployment rate is lower than England’s. And he’s saying that we don’t have jobs here because of the machines. 4% beats England’s 5.2%.

At last the American companies are waking up to support their people and country. American made is known for their durability unlike China which is known to last for a week. Go America!

I’m still upset with the companies that left America in the first place , coming back is a good start but the CEO’s deserve a beating in the town square.
