My two picks are Sex and the Sea, and Lover's Tale. I'm not in the animaliic notes, but in Francesca's fragrances are so well blended that I just feel something sensual and refined I can't easily explain

I couldn't agree more! I'm starting to appreciate more and more animalic notes, but in her fragrances the animalic notes are blended so perfectly, that give this sensual (I would even say sexual) aura. Stunning creations 👌👌

How amazing is her work!! I have sampled the house and am very closely in line with you João! The first bottle I purchased was Sex And The Sea, the second will be Angel’s Dust, then I’ll get The Dark Side, The Lover’s Tale and then maybe Lost in Heaven. I quite like Black Knight too. Under My Skin is beautiful but too animalic on my skin in the opening. Bit BO’y! Lol... overall I LOVE what she does! I can’t wait to try her new fragrance!! ❤️

Cuir Soyeux is a limited edition fragrance and that's why wasn't on the sample set, although I'm quite curious to try it 😊 Highly advise you to buy the sample set, it's a wonderful experience 😉👌

I absolutely adore Angels Dust but unfortunately the fact that it quickly becomes a skin scent on me refrains me from buying the full bottle. Under my Skin is a masterpiece. I find this to project a tiny bit. I would absolutely love to try Dark Side, but I’ve heard it’s more masculine.

Under my skin I'm glad I got a decant of this and didn't blind buy it like I almost did. I suppose my nose is broken because all I get out of this is a skin scent of powdery rose, with a slight smell of musk and oakmoss. That's it. Nothing more, nothing less. 🤷🏽‍♂️ I have no idea what reviewers are talking about. I don't get anything animalic, ambery, or leathery from this fragrance. A lot of people are suggesting this smells like a couple having sex, and all I can think is that they must not have much sex 😆 because I don't get that vibe at all, and let's just say I'm not into vanilla-flavored sex. So what am I missing here, because it certainly isn't sex in a literal sense, maybe just the scent of what I would call the smell of sex.😏 Maybe this is just one of those that needs more heat to develope on me 🤷🏽‍♂️ and yes I've worn it on skin several times already.

@@steveb8269 yes thanks well what i mean is - ive tried several such scents including the eau savage. the green scents. all were quite good but either not so high in quality or not exactly proper masculine due to some added flowery notes wich seemed a bit feminine or unisex to me - or they were missing tat vibrant sparkling vibe wich i like. im just wondering if theres anything i can find in the same category thats higher quality and smells more expensive and typically masculine only

First impressions don't say anything with these fragrances, you have to wear them to fully appreciate them. I own 8/10 (= incl. "Cuir Soyeux" which is the most smooth leathery fragrance) Francesca's fragrances (don't own "Angel's Dust", "Sex and The Sea" both of which I consider leaning more on the feminine side and "SSNeroli" is better, more coconutty and works in cold as well as in warm weather). Right now I'm wearing 'The Lover's Tale'. I used to hate leather fragrances, the ones from Francesca are the only ones I like (very much). ''The Dark Side' is a very cozy autumn/winter fragrance, as is "The Black Knight" which is a vetiver based fragrance. I find "Etruscan Water" most dearing to my nose maybe cause it's a chypre - but can be worn all year round, also in hot weather. For me 'Under My Skin' and 'The Lover's Tale' sit closer to my skin, drydown of the latter reminds me of 'Under My Skin' while the scent itself reminds me of "Mitsouko edp" (if it's too hot for "The Lover's Tale" I use "Mitsouko"). 'Lost in Heaven' is an easy to wear fragrance, Swiss knife.
