I feel like if you can identify a scent (brand/perfumer) based on a certain accord alone we could say it's her's. Not vastly different, but still a unique composition and props to her for creating that. I can't have an endless stream of frags coming in, so this falls that tiny bit short unfortunately.

I do love Etruscan Water. Ram, I am glad that you did this video. I have to say that my discovery of Francesca Bianchi is the biggest reason for my obsession of perfume. Her original Sex and the Sea intrigued me as at that time no one had a fragrance with that name. That was in the beginning of her career and the start of me being a fraghead. Despite the fact that most of her perfumes have the same DNA is the reason I I have always liked most of them. She is an interesting woman and was an innovator of what we all have today. Thanks for the video and I liked your shirt.

@@RamseytheRam On another note, I sprayed myself with Etruscan Water after watching your video and I do have to say that IMHO nobody does it “stronger” than Francesca Bianchi! Those 30 mls bottles last longer than anything else out there. I will probably be smelling Etruscan Water for the next couple of days!

Those 30ml bottles are good value for $ ...but I would rather pay a little more and have a Papillon...but in the battle of the women independent brands... to me Liz Moores wins everytime ...just one Ram's opinion 🐏

On yet even another note, those little gifts they used to give you when you bought a full bottle were amazing. I have (or had) an entire drawer of them in my bedroom. Once I lost my job and had to delve into that drawer, it was like a small treasure trove. Back in the day, when you spent some money, you were gifted. Nowadays, all they want is your money. I am glad I had that little drawer because I started wearing those little gifts once I had to stop purchasing new fragrances.

The best oakmoss in a perfume that I've personally ever smelled, creamy, rich, dusty and green. "Etruscan Water" and "Sex and the Sea" are the only two Bianchi's works that I would get a full bottle of.

Heard some folks that this reminds them of Diaghilev, and I see where they are coming from but it’s like someone summarises you a book that they read with so many pieces and details missing. I like this one, and it can be found at great prices, but I won’t buy a bottle, the only one I think I might own is Under My Skin. Amazing review, Ram!

Cheers Rams, I have and enjoy this one ,opening is really good, and then we settle into the F,B. DNA, which I do not mind to be honest, I totally agree Liz Moore gives so much more nuance in her creations for sure , and therefore I really never compare both ladies side by side ,they are completely different in their approach to perfumery and style ,great review buddy,great shirt I had similar ,love paisley tbh.classy yet casual boom 💥🙏✌️👍

Does it have a clear and distinct smell of salt or sea? What is the fragrant scent used in Acqua Di Gio and Aquatic perfumes? Because I hate this smell and I was hesitant to buy Francesca perfume...

Great work like always…Lovers tale is my favourite from the house followed by Etrucsan water, Under My skin & so on…i discovered Lovers tale during lockdown & it definitely made that period better…in our part of the world we get these at almost half of retail price..its a steal at that price point..

I have 30 ml. I was also swayed by reviews which I kind of regret as I had no experience of the house. I love the opening, just sprayed it but honestly it's gone in 15 minutes on my skin. From there on in a pleasant but monotone dry down. Can't say much more as it's the only FB I've tried..

I tried some of FB's fragrances and The Black Knight and Tyger Tyger were the most interesting to me. The others (except Etruscan Water) were somehow identical especially in the drydown. Ram have you tried the house Marlou?

@@RamseytheRam Although I liked the name is Sex and the Sea, I was never that enamored with the actual scent. However, I like Sex and the Sea Neroli much more but went through two bottles in no time, mostly because I ended up breaking them while getting out of the shower. Sorry for TMI.

I tried this today out of my sample pack of 14 ,it seems to be the most office friendly scent :-) i really like it . The opening is very very good,drydown is good but a little boring. its not changing so much on my skin . Full bottle ? Maybe. Nice for summer.

I remember you didn't like it some time ago when you first reviewed it, maybe you'll change your mind with Libertime Neroli too if you give it a chance to know it better 😛 Her DNA is so spot on with my taste on perfumes! Etruscan Water, Black Knight, Byzantine Amber and Encounters are my favorites! But i haven't try yet Sticky Fingers, Lover's Tale and Under My Skin, they seem to powdery/feminine/sweet from the notes so i left them out for some other time!

I sampled FB’s stuff and bought this a few years ago. I actually think it’s a lot closer to Aramis than Azuree. Like, really similar. Edit: made this comment before the video was over. I still think it’s closer to Aramis Aramis than Tuscany.

I’m here for this, and thank you for sacrificing ur own nose for the craft, I’ll trust u on this one Honestly I don’t pull for any of my bottles here, and I doubt I’ll go get the only one I love, Sticky Patchouli Fingies I have the sample set from a year plus ago, but went ahead and bought some anyway. Keeping them for some reason I’m Sure but not getting more unless something amazing comes out, if I get around to it I have houses I’ll buy all from, enough. I do t have to mess with houses that aren’t consistent
