I've not tried any Francesca Bianchi perfumes yet but can't wait to sniff Under My Skin; it sounds delicious and comforting. When I was in Berlin a year ago it was my first time visiting and I fell in love with that city. I bought J.F. Schwarzlose 'Leder 6' which is a leather centric parfum. Seemed appropriate as Berlin is the leather capitol of Europe? That is, according to a poster I read advertising a gay/bear club near my hotel. ;) Will need to get a sample set from Francesca Bianchi.

This was fun. It’s what I do when I get like 40 samples in the mail! But I can’t try them all at once! I’ll have to give Under my Skin another try. It didn’t seem so sweet snelling when I tried it. Edit: ok, so I tried my sample again tonight. I have to say, I’m getting a totally different experience! It’s more like some people mentioned on Fragrantica - spicy, musky, and a bit floral. I do like it but had to grow on me for a bit!

I don't if you have to train your nose to a certain level of sophistication or what but I just can't see what all the fuss is about and I want to so bad. I didn't love Tyger Tyger but I liked it ok. Lost in Heaven, to me, smells like every 60+ year old lady in the 70s who wore 15 rings per hand. It's very familiar to me but it's the type of scent I thought we were lucky to have evolved out of. I'm going to order a few more of her scents in decants bc I do feel like she's putting real artistry into her work and excellent ingredients. I want to learn to appreciate this type of niche. I want my nose to grow. Lol!

I think there should be no pressure to like something if you don't. If you can appreciate the artistry in them, but simply wouldn't wear them, then that is enough. You can try them again after some time (sometimes even years later), and you may enjoy them if your taste has either changed or evolved. It's all meant to be good fun. 🌹Xo Sam

Loved this video. I just received the 'Venus' Sample pack today and am currently giving all 5 a good sniffing! You described 'Under my Skin' perfectly. It's definitely a gingerbread dough kind of scent. Sweet spicey and warming and also musky with a raw dough vibe. Angel's Dust is my favourite. I'm a Rose/Iris kind a gal. It's that Classic lipstick style but with added Niche creativity and a touch of something dirty. All beautiful quality. Did you purchase Under my Skin?

My World of Fragrance I was hoping you had it in your testing. With SATS there’s a note that really stands out and stays through the dry down almost piercing to me I’m not sure what maybe the civet?? it’s weird bc I get almost that same note feeling in London by Widian which I love also but I don’t think it has Civet so idk but SATSN is super smooth all the way!
